What a brilliant guest Denise Van Outen was! Completely different to what I thought she'd be like. Also, I think you can tell which guests are going to be good by whether they agree to stay til the end of the show. Most guests stay for 20 minutes or so, plug a book/film/tv show/album then bugger off

I thought she was great as well. She took the piss out of Matt Fincham which is mot hard to do but always welcome. She fitted in really well.

She has that kind of personality that fits in well with them I think - up for a laugh. I did wonder if it'd be awkward because of the Johnny Vaughan connection, but she was very good.

I'm not so sure I agree with you - obviously it's good if they do stay, but sometimes they have genuine reasons for going on time like they have appointments elsewhere.
