I missed it last night with my gammy eye and all, but I just watched it and it was so very very very funny. Yeah I suppose we have a predilection to enjoy it, but hey how can you not find him funny. "By the time the Rocky Music is finished I have almost got both trainers on!"

Oh I don't care any more, those people who don't like him are just not very nice people, with little or no sense of humor, and for that I Pity them greatly.

the only funny thing chris said was the crack about his shoes and the rocky theme.

i'm a big fan of chris as i've heard on the radio and seen on top gear etc, but that wasn't the chris we saw on the one show. i was disappointed .

This morning, Chris read out the viewing figures for the One Show. Normally they're around 4.7 million. When Morrissey was on last week they were 4.9 million and Monday's figures, when Chris was on were...... drum roll please..... 5.5 million. He must be doing something right then! I think the reason that people are being so vocal about him is because of the wages he's on. Had he had been on a lower wage than what he alledgedly (sp) is then people wouldn't give a toss. No one did 10 years ago when his wage was (presumably) a lot lower. The gutter press are to blame & sadly the morons that read them believe them.

Anyway glad to see he got higher viewing figures than normal, that's two fingers up to the haters

I always found it funny that he blamed Rachel for Celebaqs axing so that it wouldn't continue on to the breakfast show Perhaps there was a bit of a fall out from that afterwards?

Yes it did didn't it, I think it did quite well when on Afternoons but I think it trailed off quite rapidly once they had moved to Mornings & it wasn't broadcast on the show anymore. Although Rachel was the one that got it axed (well that's the impression I got from the last afternoon show at least).

Unless (and I may be reading into this incorrectly*) Paddy may have taken offense to some of his gay comments? Either that or Paddy just wasn't in the mood last night?

It just seemed Paddy gave Chris a look of death as he was being serious about his segment, definitely an ask Aled question.
