My Dad is being let out of hospital today

They still don't know what's wrong with him though & he has to go back to the hospital next week for a stomach scan But he does seem alot better.

I don't think shameless plugging is too badly frowned upon, but Chris tends not to like links to justgiving sites posted on here because of their (very discreetly advertised) policy of creaming off a chunk of people's donations for themselves. I tend to agree - if I think I am donating £5 plus the gift aid to some cause, I don't like that in reality all of the gift aid and sometimes more actually goes to justgiving.

I've quite enjoyed 'Pirate Johnnie Walker' this afternoon. It's an attempt to re-create the days of pirate radio, with music and jingles from the time.

It's exactly the sort of thing Moyles takes the mickey out of, but it's all good fun.

Yeah, I agree - don't normally like Tim Vine (have you seen Not Going Out? OK, it's more a Lee Mack product, but he's in it and it's not very good). However, I did laugh at that, that was very funny!

I don't really blame him for me not liking him, it's just my taste in comedy. He's very much a one-liner kind of comedian which has its place but it's not for me.

It's also why I wince a bit when Moyles calls Jimmy Carr 'the best comedian in the UK'. I much prefer people such as Stewart Lee, Josie Long, Daniel Kitson, Ross Noble, Richard Herring, Robin Ince (I could go on!).
