Does anyone know why is it that Chappers can host a show on his own and Dave can't? I know when Scott's off and Chappers does 'Scott Mills Gold' They get around it by playing clips of Scott, but I'm sure they've had Chappers and Dave without Dave. Is it simply that Chappers is more qualified?

Dave can't drive the desk. Unless that's all an act.

He has done the Chappers and Dave Weekend slot on his own.

Was that when Grimmy was off, because he admitted that the producer was driving the desk for him.

Has anyone else also noticed that aswell as playing far too much music. The music has been awful.

I've heard 4 tracks so far from 9am and I only liked one of them. I understand everyone has differant tastes but the music isn't normally this bad.

Yes, but show producers can change the music slightly if they want to/to fit the style of the show.

Putting the music to one side, I think Vernon is doing a grand job, I foudn him quite funny during the first hour today.

Agreed, he is doing a good Job. The handover with Jo was excellent today, him telling Dave and Carrie to "Shut up" was ace. The drinks tonight should be good for Team Moral.

Only last thing i wish Vernan woulden't do is cut records off, unless obviously he has too.

I've heard him trample over the end of several songs that end naturally by themselves and dont fade out.

Oh dear, I thought that Vernon pretending not to hear Chris when he asked if he'd received his letter about donating, then refusing to commit to actually saying he'd donated was very awkward. It wasn't really an approrpriate thing to kid about when the listeners have been so amazing this week. Then it got even worse when Chris pulled him up for not taking part in the assault course.

Must agree that the show was better today.

You're right it was a joke but I thought considering the tone of the show this week it was a bit of a silly one. Chris didn't sound like he appreciated it either - don't mess with a man up a mountain! LOL.

As for the assault course sorry I got the impression that Vernon had been asked (not on air) but didn't want to do it. I'm fine with him participating or not, I just thought it made for an awkward on air moment.

I think that might be why I like Vernon, although I like Moyles too, Moyles can be quite nasty and mean sometimes in his 'radio persona' (often hiding insults by adding "I was only joking" after them) whereas Vernon is just a nice guy. I don't know, I'm probably reading too much into it all.

I dont really know whether i agree or disagree. Disagree probably but i understand sort of what your saying.

I think the team sounds great when they are with Moyles and this week have been more on edge than normal. They've not really known when Vernon was going to fire a record, whereas with Moyles, they do.

I prefer dave when he is more natural, towards the end of this week he has done, but toward the start of the week he sounded alot more scripted.

Either way, I look forward to having Moyles back on Wednesday morning.
