I've seen him live 3 times. Although the last tour wasn't as good as previous ones, I still find him very funny.

I know someone who went to school with Al Murray, he's from Stewkley, which is not far from here. He did a gig in their village hall quite recently to raise funds for it I think and I believe he tried out a new character there.

Hooray I managed to temporarily fix my boiler. It's amazing what you can do with selotape these days.

Nope, never heard that. I've only heard whitewashed or (in pool terms) seven-balled, which I've very occasionally heard when referring to other sports to mean the same as 'grannied'.

Although he wouldn't have lost the match, had he lost that point; he would have lost the first game and it's best of five.
