Listening to all the different shows on Radio 1, it got me thinking about the role of the producers. Some shows like the Moyles Show, Mills Show, Colin Murray, they all have chatty producers who are a part of the show. However, other shows, like Whiley and Edith have seemingly mute producers.
Which do you prefer? I prefer the producers getting involved personally, as it gets a bit boring listening to one voice droning on with no other input! I found it hilarious when Coxy was covering for Whiley, it was obvious she likes to get her producers involved more, and she was chatting away to them and asking them questions! They kept a bit quiet though, I think Coxy was a bit of a shock compared to Whiley, who rarely talks to her producers on air
So...producers, vocal or mute?
