I was making a sugar soft ball for Turkish delight and I read the scales wrong and put 4 ounces of sugar in instead of 4 pounds, whoopsie. Mike our chef teacher laughed a lot though.

Every time I have made turkish delight I get something that tastes fab but is the wrong texture, too jelly like and too stretchy. What am I doing wrong Cat?

I think the Daily Show does better topical satire, but Colbert is a better host. John Stewart can get a little repetitive - show clip, pause, make funny face, continue. Don't get me wrong though I still love the Daily Show. I'm just nit-picking.

Yeah, I think Jon Stewart's better at the "in the news today" type of stuff, but Colbert's features like "The Word" and "Tip of the Hat, Wag of the Finger" are brilliant.

I think I prefer Jon Stewart's interviews though.

Everyone thought it was joke at first, but he has quit acting and has is touring the states now as a rap artist, he lamped some guy at gig in Miami last night, nervous breakdown me thinks.

I read that and found it incredibly sad. I mean if he does feel that way about music, then why stop there? What's the point of movies, or books or art. Or even love? Is love to him purely physical? Because he doesn't seem capable of enjoying a purely emotional thing for what it is.
I've sent it to my music tutor. I can't wait to read his reply.

I finally got my exam results. Got an A in my retake for psychology which was nice seeing that was originally an E so my entire AS grade has gone up. As well as a B in sociology and C in law, mean I only have 4 exams in June. Yay!
