The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Chris was on Jonathans show last night and I thought it was a really nice interview. Chris diden't go for the whole 'jokey Moyles' thing. He was just plain him I think. It was really nice to see.

He also then went to speak about the press talking about how Radio 1's DJs are too old which was good.

If you missed it, it should be on the Iplayer and it well worth 10 mins of your life.

By far the best interview I have seen Chris give. He still seemed a bit nervous (saw his hand shaking once) but I find that quite endearing. He frequently says that he is a different person when not on the radio and it does appear to be the case. Fearne said pretty much the same yesterday morning.

Yeah I noticed that too. He kept playing with his jacket and touching the side of his head lots. Perhaps he is more nervous when he is trying to be himself.

It was nice that he was on last too as that meens he was the main guest of the evening ( I think ).

I found Moyles to be really rather charming on this last night. He appeared to be so much more pleasant than he normally does in interviews or on telly. He generally annoys me I'm afraid.

Seems to me that the experience of the Kilimanjaro climb has somehow made him slightly more self-effacing and has calmed him down a little. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Very good interview. Shall definitely be watching his quiz show again tomorrow night.

I've not seen it yet but judging from the comments I'd say Chris knows he has to go on a major charm offensive at the moment. If I were him I'd be trying to get as much good publicity out there as possible.

That was the best interview i've seen him do. Very calm and relaxed, not OTT and pisstaking. Nice to see him come out of his radio persona and be himself.

Just watched the interview on iplayer and I agree that is the best interview he's given on telly yet. Calm and relaxed, he came across as normal guy who just happens to be on the radio. In the past I thought Chris has tried too hard but after this interview I'm convinced he could make the jump to do more "serious" work. (if that's what he wants to do of course)

It was excellent, it was how he should have been on the OneShow. It didnt come as any major shock or surprise though because it's how I know Moyles is and can be on TV. Well done to him.

Yup, I'll agree with all the above comments. It's the best TV appearance he's done, and I think it was needed given his recent press.

Chris was great on this, he came across a nice, normal guy & was funny as well without having to be funny (if you get what I mean). I hope he does more of his interviews on TV like this in future.

You should see his latest pic on twitter. Seriously it had me juicing up at one point.

Funny thing is my Mum watched it last night & I was telling her how critics call him a "Fat, Ugly Bastard..." and she said he isn't ugly, which came as something of a surprise considering what my mum is like (she said Rhys Ifans (sp) was a state & Pete Docherty looked ridiculous in the Trilby)

Clicky. Chris is on at about 37 minutes if you want to skip the rest.

I also thought he was great, I think a lot of knockers (not of the breast type) would have been pleasantly surprised.

From S4B and Andy B's comments, I think a lot of knockers of the breast type might be quite happy too.

Well thank you Mr Topher, that saved me downloading it myself!

I really enjoyed that. One thing - Chris has said a couple of times on the show that even though he's lost weight he is still classified as clinically obese - surely not? Still a nice hunky chunk perhaps, but not obese, surely?

And I totally agree with Johnny 1989's mum about Pete Docherty and Rhys Ifans. They both look like they need a damn good wash, they look as though they smell.

 My Mum always refers to them as scruffy bastards

The reason he's still classed as obese is due to the BMI, which is being questioned by health professionals at present. For example Sir Steve Redgrave was classed clinically obese because he's 18 stone, but he's 18 stone of muscle. That's why Moyles is probably still classed as obese, although now I'd say chunky. He does look better slimmer though & has inspired me to lose some weight (I bloody need to as well   )

Me too, i've lost around 1 1/2 stone so far. Just need to keep going as I was listening to Radio 1 (during chris' climb) when I was loosing it.

That's actually quite impressive. Well done to you.

That looks really patronising but it's meant sincerely.
