Speaking of Oxford, their manager....Larf

"poxy league"? You shouldn't have cheated, you'd have had a better chance of getting out then wouldn't you?

I didn't know he cheated, that's pretty bad if true. Also calling it a 'poxy league' is a bit disrespectful to all the other teams.

tut tut, if you went round telling all the supporters of teams that beat your lot to * off, you'd, well, you'd not be a popular girl at all.

Two things - first, whilst its a nice surprise not to be in relegation danger, it makes for a deadly dull end to the season, so I'm venting my frustrated boredom. Second, being popular went out of the window a very long time ago. Nobody loves me. Everybody hates me. I'm going down the garden to eat worms.

Let me be proud of my City - just for once! Darren Ferguson got married 2 days after they beat Colchester and his Dad wasn't at the wedding!

Your city? YOUR city?! You are from Wales when it suits and Peterborough when it suits...

Yep I am! My roots are in Wales but I am trying to do what I recommend anyone who moves to a different country does - become a part of that place and join in with their cultures, showing pride in their successes and commiserating in their traumas. Is that so wrong Topher?

If anyone wonders why the SPL is boring and frustrating, tonight's game is an example of what we get. One pishy wee team turns up at the big ground and defends for 90 minutes. They get the occasional chance. If they're lucky, they take it. If they're really lucky they might win 1-0.

Barcelona v Chelsea, Celtic v Whipping Boys - same thing, different level.

P.S. Henry should have had a penalty and Ballack should have got a second yellow. Plus if he gives the penalty Puyol doesn't get booked and isn't out of the second leg. Then Terry has the cheek to moan about the ref?! Away and chase yourself John.

As is Drogba - goes down more readily than Danielle Lloyd at a PFA awards aftershow party.

Bur Barca, good lord, an (even more) effete version of Arsenal - bloody shoot for god's sake and stop trying to pass the ball into the net. That may work against the rubbish in La Liga but not against teams who can defend.

I reckon that Barca will take Chelski in the second leg, they won't be able to defend like that again and 1 goal for Barca will mean 2 for Chelski.

Barca should have won, and Bojan should have scored his opportunity in the dying moments. Chelsea defended well but didn't deserve a win at all.

And Valdes goalkeeping in front of Drogba at the end of the first half was fantastic.

Aberdeen fans today singing at Celtic:

"* off to England, why don't you * off to England..."

All the funnier when you consider Aberdeen were winning at the time. Clearly in need of competition then...

La Liga > Premiership.

The epic El Clasico aside, I watched Villarreal v Sevilla after it last night. Great game of football. Then I flicked over to Match of the Day in time for Wigan v Bolton. Entertaining certainly. Football? Not so much. Made Aberdeen v Celtic earlier in the day look good!

Apart from "el classico" being the most puffed up, self regarding, preposterous name for a football match ever, Real Madrd are shit, shit, shit.

Yeah, because Sky never tack on stupid names to Premiership games. Especially those involving the top four.

Real Madrid aren't that bad. But they have made an arse of probably their two biggest games since Ramos took over.
