The month of May is upon us.

Colin leaves at the end of May correct?

:(

I'm going to download a few of these before he goes. BTW I may edit the music out & add some of these to Moyles and Mark & Lard archive, dependent on what the links are like :)

Huzzah!

Got last weeks so far, is he only on Monday's-Thursday's?

I'll get as many as I can and will work on removing the music from them over the next few months :D

Thing is though, Colin's show without music isn't the same as Chris' show without music. With Chris' show the music is an irrelevance, whereas Colin presents an extremely good music based show. Yes, the banter is good, but you need the music too. Plus it's pretty good a lot of the time.

Well of course I'll keep copies with the tracks in tact  but for legal reasons I'll cut them out. I'll certainly edit & upload his final show of course, that will be the important one :D

I'm gutted, Colin was one of my favourite R1 DJ's and Nick.G will be an awful replacement! What shows does he do at 5 live, never even listened to that station :? ?

And you're basing that claim on what? What's your source? Have you got a link you could share with us (which isn't a tabloid "newspaper")?

It won't be like Colin's at all methinks.

It's now, "Get up with Moyles, Get home with Mills and Stay up with Grimshaw".

Yep I've heard that. Love the line 'dear God what have we done' or words to that effect. Well covered Radio 1!

Thing is, they are joking about that. They don't realise how true it is.

As mentioned up thread I was attempting to get as many Colin Murray shows before he left, so, here's the list of what I've managed to download (hopefully they're all in tact & don't have the end part "missing", which is one fault with the iPlayer I find at present):

27/4/2009
28/4/2009
29/4/2009
30/4/2009
30/4/2009
05/5/2009
18/5/2009
19/5/2009
20/5/2009
21/5/2009
27/5/2009

I'm working on getting the 26/5/2009 (which is currently unavailable) and also the last show. The first one to be edited will be, of course the Final Show & then the last Midweek Mobile Disco.

I can't promise a timespan but seeing as the shows are only two hours long, that shouldn't be too much of a problem :D

Colin certainly knows how to end the show on a high - What a great mix of tunes tonight.

Some of the unexpected songs have been the best - why couldn't they convince him to stay?

Due to that last, ahem, song I decided to record the last 7 minutes of the show just before his final link, just incase the BBC get frightened & edit the last part out (including Colin's "*") However, unfortunately due to shite internet connections the sound drops out several times for a few seconds, twice whilst Colin was talking in his last link.

Hopefully Colin is not too mainstream enough that the BBC leave in the expletives, after all I can't imagine many under 15's listening to the show seeing as they have school tomorrow.

Oh didn't they? Great they shouldn't need to really, should they, after all doesn't Westwood swear on his show every week (or am I taking Grey Head's comments from 2000 to literally)

Absolutely, he said it about 20 times in the last half hour

Screw the Daily Mail, BBC keep it in considering it's his last show :D

How long do they take to upload shows on iPlayer?
