Is there a thread on members versions of Dave's Tedious link?

If not shall I start it. Give you a song and then another song you need to get to, so on and so on?

I already post the actual Tedious Links, I don't have the energy to make up my own as well! Sometimes Dave's trains of thought make my head hurt.

Oh, why not...

DannyBoy wrote:Rage Against The Machine - Bullet In The Head

A bullet in the head is not something you'd want if you wanted to keep living. 'Living Doll' was a hit for Cliff Richard who has released many hits including that annoying Lord's Prayer. Lords is the venue for the cricket test match which is going on at the moment, today with an amazing performance from Graham Onions. Onions make you cry but do make a very tasty snack in barbecue food such as hot dogs and burgers. Burgers are made from beef although not in India where the cow is considered sacred. The 'Sacred Heart' hospital features in the TV show Scrubs which follows the antics of characters such as Turk, Eliot and JD. JD is also a brand of whiskey which is commonly mixed with coca cola, and if you had a night drinking too many of these you may have been seen as having a walk on the wild side, which leads us to...

Lou Reed - Walk on the Wild Side.

Loo is another name for a toilet. Toilet is where you go if you want to have a poo. Pooh is the surname of Winnie the. An abbreviation of Winnie is win, which is what you do if you get all six numbers on the National Lottery. Lottery is a form of gambling. Gambling is an addiction for some. Drinking can also be an addiction, if the drinking involves copious amounts of alcohol. A type of alcohol is ethanol, which sounds a bit like Ethel. Ethel is the name of many old women. Old women are usually in the WI, which has quite a lot of influence when it wants to put its weight behind something. Doing weights is a form of exercise, as is playing football. A former football player is Alan Hansen, who seems to like saying the word 'unbelievable' quite a lot, which leads us to Unbelievable by EMF.

EMF are from the Forest of Dean, not far from Monmouth. Monmouth is on the border of England and Wales, which mustn't be confused with Whales, which are giant sea mammals. The biggest Whale is the Blue Whale, which is called blue even though it's a kind of dark grey colour. Other colours in the spectrum include Red, Green, Orange and Purple, and lots of colours can be heard in the theatre show 'Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat', which probably has made lots of money for Andrew Lloyd Webber, who is very rich. Another very rich person would be a Sultan, and if the Sultan owned a Childrens Playground which was losing him all his money you could say he was a 'Sultan of Swings' in Dire Straits, which leads us to Sultan of Swing by Dire Straits.

Unbelievable is a word which has a similar meaning to "I don't believe it" which is a famous catchphrase of Victor Meldrew. Victor Meldrew was a character from One Foot In The Grave. Grave sounds a little bit like gravy, which is something that you might pour over your sunday roast. Roast rhymes with post which is something that is used to support a fence. Sitting on the fence is an irritating habit which people without opinions tend to have. A very valid opinion which I hold is that camping in tents is a wrong thing to do. In some countries however historically people lived in tents, and in some of these countries the ruling monarch might have been known as the Sultan, which leads us to Sultans of Swing, by Dire Straits.

Dire Straits is something you would be in if you had no money, no home and nothing of any value in your life. Life was part of the title of a popular board game Game Of life. Game is something you can eat. Chris Moyles likes to eat. This forum is about Chris Moyles. This forum is full of geeks. Geeks rhymes with speaks. Somebody who speaks is a speaker. Sound comes out of speakers. If you had your speakers underground you could say it was the sound of the underground, linking us neatly to Girls Aloud and Sound of The Underground.

A sound of the underground in London could refer to such sounds as crowds, tannoy announcements or trains. Trains to Brazil was a song by musical oddballs The Guillemots who have also had minor success with their song 'Get Over It'. Get over it is something you might say to George Bush who is currently looking for things to do back in his ranch in Texas. Texas Hold'em is a form of poker rules, and if you were to play poker you wouldn't want to be playing with Lady GaGa who has a very good Poker Face. Face from the A-Team was played by the actor Dirk Benedict who had a stint on Celebrity Big Brother a few years ago, living with such housemates as Ken Russell and Leo Sayer. Leo Sayer is a very short man with hair that some might say belongs in the '70s. Hair is also the name for a West-End musical with a big cast of singers also known as the 'chorus'. And if this cast of singers were one day to be replaced with frogs, you might say that they have made a 'frog chorus', which leads us to Frog Chorus by Paul McCartney.

A chorus is can be made up of men, such as a male voice choir. A voice is something we all have in common with other. Common people was a popular song by Jarvis * and his band Pulp. Pulp is something often found in orange juice and can be removed for more of a smooth drink. A drink is something that can be hot or cold which in that respect has something in common with a Cornish pasty. A Cornish pasty derives from unsurprisingly Cornwall. Cornwall is where the actor who played Darth Vader from the Star Wars films is from and Star Wars is largely set in Space, and when you think of the word space in terms of music leads us to Space Oddity by David Bowie.

Space Oddity is all about Carrie's Husband Major Tom, who is in the armed forces, as was James Blunt, Spike Milligan and Elvis Presley. If you change two letters of the word Presley you get the word 'Parsley', which is a herb used to make sauces for fish. Fish are a creature that cannot live outside of the water, unlike Ducks, which can live both on water and on land. A famous Duck is Donald Duck, who had three nephews, Huey Duey and Louie. Huey is also the name of the band 'Fun Loving Criminals, who are famous for the song 'Scooby Snacks'. The term Scooby Snacks' comes from the cartoon Scooby Doo, where Scooby is best friends with a man called Shaggy. which leads us to Mr Boombastic by Shaggy

Next: 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the waves.

Shaggy is the name of one of the characters in Scooby Doo. Doo is a childs term for the word pooh. Pooh was a bear, so was Fuzzy Wuzzy. When fuzzy wuzzy lost his hair fuzzy wuzzy wasnt fuzzy wuzzy? If fuzzy wuzzy lost his hair he would be bald. Duncan Goodhew, Harry Hill and Phil Mitchell are bald. Phil Mitchells relative is Ronnie Mitchell. Ronnie is played by Samantha Janus. Samantha Janus represented Britain at Eurovision. As did Katrina and the Waves, bringing us neatly to Katrina and the Waves - Walking on Sunshine.
