What is a chilli dog?
Why do all Americans seem to have the same teeth?
A corn dog is a hot dog aka wiener on a stick that is dipped into a batter (sorta like pancakes or hotcakes but with more breadlike consistency) then fried.
A chili dog is a hot dog on a hot dog bun with hot chili added. The not-so-smart try to eat it with their hands. The smart ones use a fork.
AS for our teeth we have dentists and most of our employers pay for free exams and cleanings several times a year. Good thing because we eat a lot of sugar and you know what that does.

How do you make hush puppies without gagging a doggy?
Great question! Biscuits are bread that is normally served in the morning with jam or just butter. They are semi-hard on the top and bottom and warm and fluffy on the inside. Primarily in the south they are also served with other meals such as lunch and dinner. They can also be made into a sandwich just but cutting a large one in half and inserting your favorite breakfast meat.
Hugh Puppies are big in the south as well especially with meals with fish. They are made from cornbread batter or from the batter used to fry a fish. Basically they make a dough ball and fry it. The story goes that a fisherman was frying fish and his dogs were barking so he took some fried pieces of fish fry batter and gave it to the dogs and said "hush puppy".

What is a gram-cracker?
Grits are made from corn and basically corn is ran through a stone mill and the parts that don't go through the screen and left over are grits. They are soaked and heated and make a porridge that is somewhat bland in taste. Most people add butter as well as salt or sugar. While they are most commonly served in the South at breakfast they are starting to be served for lunch and dinner when paired with items like Shrimp.
A graham cracker is a flat rectangle snack cracker mostly made with sugar and cinnamon. They are often crumbled up and put in the bottom of pie pans and used as a crust.

Zoot wrote:Do you guys really get 'Duvet Days'?
I had to go look this up and yes it appears a good chunk of us do. I'll use myself for example. My employer gives me 2 weeks of sick leave and 4 weeks of vacation (holiday) pay a year. I can use the sick leave anytime I want and I don't really have to account for why I used (i.e. sick of work!). As for vacation days my employer asks that I notify them two weeks in advance. I also have floating holidays for when I work on some of the not so popular holidays and save the hours to be used anytime I want.
