I liked the Turkish entry and was therefore very pleased the UK gave it top marks.

I really enjoyed watching this with my Sister, we had such a laugh imitating the Eastern European markers in a Borat style! Hillarious.

It really is camper than a row of tents and Norton is excellent for this reason alone. His sarcasm is legendary !

In general, yes. But Graham was a lot funnier on Eurovision than Terry has been for the last few years.

If he was doing an impression it was of someone far funnier than Wogan.

It may have sounded to some like he was imitating Wogan because they picked someone with a similar style.

Wogan > Norton* but Wogan is out of the question so I'm pleased we have the next best thing. :)

*Not in previous years though. I remember last year not being as funny because you could tell Wogan was just getting tired of it.

I haven't ever really liked him on anything except that early role in Father Ted - but I thought he was brilliant at Eurovision. Sir Terry has been too predictable and bored with it for the last couple of years, the funny had gone.

I'll not argue that Wogan was less funny than before.

I must have missed where Norton was brilliant though - again, he sounded like he was trying to do a bad Wogan impression. It sounded like it was premeditated abuse unlike Wogans off the cuff commentary.

foot-loose wrote:Norton is not funny. Not on Eurovision, nor anything else. His laugh is also irritating.
