Scrubs > Friends.

Both should have stopped after the 5th series though. American Television needs to stop milking programmes for all they have got.

Cheers > Scrubs > Big Bang Theory > Friends

So, erm, there ;)

Cheers is superb, Big Bang Theory is suprisingly quite funny, it's on E4 every so often, if you catch an episode give it a gander, you may like it :D

I love Big Bang Theory, so much so that when watching Star Trek the mention of the Romulans just made me think of the scene where Penny asks Sheldon the trivia question "Tweety Bird tawt he taw a what?" and Sheldon replies, straight-faced "a Romulan". I could just hear Penny's voice repeating "yes, he tawt he taw a Romulan". :D

And Penny would get it. Bonus.

Seconded

She was the only reason to watch 8 Simple Rules once the late, great John Ritter passed on (the series was never the same after his death)

I never knew he died! I wondered why he suddenly wasn't there any more, but I didn't know he'd died! I thought he was just working away......oh no!

Yeah, he only appeared up to & including Episode 3, from Wikipedia:

On September 11, 2003, Ritter fell ill while rehearsing scenes for a season 2 episode of 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. He was taken across the street to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, where he died later that day. The cause of his death was an aortic dissection caused by a previously undiagnosed congenital heart defect. His father had died of a heart attack almost thirty years earlier. Years later Ritter's wife testified in court that he had concerns for his own health because of the cause of his father's death. He was buried at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angeles
