Hi All,

I am a producer of a local radio show (Aimed at 18 - 35 year olds). And I'm trying to re-launch the show next saturday (15th Jan). But I've run out of ideas for new and jazzy music beds. Does anyone have any suggestions for songs that may be looped into an instrumental. Please help, I'm running out of ideas.

Also, what kind of phone features interest you all???

Thanks for any help that is given.

James try looping a Neptunes beat:
Mystikal: Danger/P Diddy: Diddy/Britney Spears:Slave 4u/Jayz:i just wanna love ya. All the Neptunes beats are Jazzed up HipHop and i think they'd work well for a bed

If you want Jazz then there are an endless amount of Jazz related sources on the net. However I get the feeling that you are looking for a contemporary dance feel to it. This I can not help with as my knowledge of dance music is pathetic at best and I would recomend against using it. If on the other hand I am wrong then messing with Jazz requires a lot skill, if you know music then you will be ok, otherwise get a musicion to help you.

On the subject of phone in's well phone in's in general are a good start, but I quite like topical discussion's that are quickly turned into redicule city. I.e. 'Farmers Weekly' phone in, try and get as many farmers as possible to phone in and let them woffle on for a little while before returning the favour but in style. I'm sure you get what I mena here even if I seem a little deranged with my description. So currently we could have a Pro Euro phone in, where you let them put there point across but comically show them there indiscretion on the matter.

I hope that gave you a modicum of help and good luck with the show.

bob - lemonjelly.ky was basically Lemon Jelly's first three EPs stuck together on the one CD. It's still well worth buying.

They also have a new album out called Lost Horizons, which Radio 1 have been playing some stuff off recently. Jo Whiley played the excellent track Nice Weather For Ducks on her show a couple of weeks back. - jc
