I hadn't done any French for years and years, until I found myself late one night stranded in the middle of France with a hotel telling me that the booking which had been made for me was news to them, and that they were full up.....it was amazing how quickly it all came back to me.

I got a 'u' for English (uncertified or something like that) at school, does that count?.
I think it means that the only thing I got right was my name (and I’m not convinced about that) so I think I’ll stay out of this conversation :D
