Seems he has been approached but is holding out. I have to say I can't see Chris in that show, especially if he was partnered with Ola as Rachel suggested he should be. He wouldn't last ten minutes in the same room as her chest without something actionable happening.

Aled on the other hand - he'd be brilliant on Strictly.

It almost seems as though the rumours have gone too far for him not to take part. I think maybe he will. It would certainly fit in with all this talk of him wanting to do more TV (BBC especially) on the back of his relative success on Ch4, but who knows...

This rumour seems to be building up a head of steam, it wouldn't surprise me if it was being orchestrated behind the scenes. However it's a bit early yet - don't they normally announce the participants in September?

If it happened, I can only see CM being on there as the token comedy turn, which would be a shame. There's one every year, and they always end up making a bit of a dick of themselves. On balance I'd probably prefer not to see him in it.

If he carries on with his training now by the time they started filming he'd be in pretty good shape - and i reckon he could shock some people. He's musical and by all accounts he can move. If he would actually try, I reckon he might be this years surprise. I can't see him giving it the concentration it needs to really do it properly though.

I have a feeling he may do it. As others have said, putting him with Ola would be wrong though. Forgetting the fact she is fit as f*ck, she is very serious and quite miserable on occasions. She wouldn't stand for any nonsense from Chris at all whatever it may be. He would need to work very hard in training to keep her happy. They would both feel like killing each other after a few weeks.

If he does do it he would be better with someone like Lilia. She is easy going and likes a laugh. And whilst she is pretty Chris wouldn't lust over her obsessivly. She is married to another pro as well. Mind you, so is Ola.

Hehe I find it amusing that Moyles jokes on air about taking a salary cut, but he refused to comment on the topic of revealing salaries at the BBC when asked by journalists. Methinks he gets paid a hefty wage and wants to hide it?

I've only watched snippets but from I've seen - all the sporty types seem to do okay as if physical fitness and agility are fundamental requirements. Do these go on to win? What dances would suit the tubby funster? Would he have to go for the 'overcoming adversity' vote - not being fit/agile/well known. The Sergeant (sp) pity vote only worked because although useless he was well known, warm and cuddly. I dunno - Strictly For Women is what I call it, right guys?

I don't think its his physical shape and condition which would be a problem. I just don't think he'd like it. I'm not sure he'd cope with being pushed around and having to do stuff he didn't want to do - so he wouldn't enjoy it, and if he wasn't enjoying it I don't reckon he'd bother much. I don't see him as "comedy relief" either, its not the kind of thing I can see him playing for laughs.

I don't think he'll do it.
