I hope you don't start posting more often neilt0. No offence or ought, just that I am prone to laughing out loud when I see that picture.

Yes (cross eyed reference)

Got very annoyed yesterday with his Evan Davis impression, not the nicest side of Chris.

I find this week so far very "pre holiday", which was a shame as last week was great.

I guess that is one of the problems of listening to the whole show everyday, I will enjoy the two weeks off.

Rant over

Personally I prefer the slightly more haphazard and chaotic shows, which is what yesterday's felt like. I didn't get annoyed with the Evan Davis impression, but I've heard him do it a couple of times before, and I do think he's sailing a little close to the wind with it. Doesn't bother me personally, but it's the kind of thing that makes the tabloid hacks prick up their porky little ears.

its just not very nice, i dunno, i am always very pro chris and happy to defend him

there is just something about taking the (as you pointed out) repeated p*ss about someone's (who seems a really likable guy) disability tweaks a nerve.

oh well

2009-07-30 06.30 - 06.35 - BBC - Radio 1 - Chris Moyles AUDIO ONLY.mp3 (5 MB)
2009-07-30 06.34 - 10.05 - BBC - Radio 1 - Chris Moyles Webcast.flv (803 MB)

NB: The feed from Radio 1 was 16:9, but the camera from 'Ull is 4:3, so if you are playing with VLC, hit the 'A' key twice to switch to 4:3 when the video is playing. Also, the first 5 minutes weren't webcast -- probably something to do with the feed from 'Ull, so I've included an audio-only fill.

Cool, thanks.

By the way, do you (or anyone else) know any way to edit the length of time of the skip function in VLC? Their "Very Short Forward Jump" is about 60 sec, and I've been trying to find a way to cut this down to 30 secs. You can edit the hot key but I can't see how to edit the length of the jump (or if it's possible). This is on a Mac, but I assume the Windows version is very similar.

Alt-Right Cursor jumps 15 seconds. You can also edit the lengths in the prefs, can't be arsed to look it up.

My pleasure! It's been fun to watch the team working for the last six weeks, it's a shame it's not continuing -- write in to Radio 1 if you want them to do more!

Although Chris said he isn't that keen to do it again, he did have fun with the cameras and they did set up some interesting things to watch!
