Cheers Yuds! It's not a classic or anything, but it's a fun, funky (well, hence the name obviously!) song. I was really torn with these choices cos I love Stand (and Weird Al used it for one of my favourite parodies of his, Spam) and also that's a great Chili Peppers song. Plus Patience is not my favourite GNR song - I'd have totally gone for Paradise City from this year.

Yeah, I thought it was, but when I did a date search on everyhit.com for 1989 it did come up. I guess it was released in late 88 and was still hanging around the charts in early 89.

I like most of those but went for REM as I like Stand, it's one of those tracks that unfortunately gets forgotten about (usually when someone mentions REM they usually mention Losing My Religion, The One I Love or Everybody Hurts)
