As soon as he said something about someone beiong on their "actual holiday" (about 40 seconds in I bellieve), I had to switch off. I can't believe that all the people who lurve him so much can't see that he is constantly taking the piss out of them? And really not in a good way!

I've never listened to more than 10 minutes of any show he does. He's probably an alright person but I hate his shows.

Oh come on, it's not that bad, the stuff with the Cricket captain was very funny, talk of Scott and pillows being cleverly interjected was good Radio, actually!

Is the main theme throughout "Me" then:

Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me, and the rest of the team, me, me, me, me, me

Sorry bad morning ;)

The only thing I liked about Scott's show was Oh What's Occurring! Usually because Sara Cox was on it talking about food :D Don't listen to him at all these days though, not my cuppa tea.

I actually quite like Scott. His features are funny and he's a good presenter in my opinion. There aren't really any presenters I don't like at the moment on Radio 1. I used to dislike Sara Cox but she seems to have grown on me. Could be just because it's only once a flood that I hear her though.

I didn't used to mind Mills, easy listening on the way home from work whilst reading my book, but the whole Musical thing has really grated on me. Bring back Laura's Diary haha.

The problem is Scott doesn't do Chris' show.

Isn't it supposed to be 'The Chris Moyles Show, with Scott Mills'

and not 'The Scott Mills Show, just in the morning, with a couple of Chris' jingles thrown in'

Chris said himself when talking about Angelo possibly talking to Scott this week that he doubts it as Scott never does any of Chris' features.

When Vernon covers he plays a fair bit of music in the forst half hour though. The difference is that the bits in between aren't such vapid, puerile drivel when Vernon is on. At least he is as interested in his audience having a giggle as he is in having a giggle himself - that's what's wrong with Scott's show, its done for the entertainment of Scott Mills rather than the listeners.

Personally, I think more songs on the Scott Mills show can only be a good thing, regardless of whose playlist they're coming from.

i don't like scott mills' show live, but i've got about a hundred of his podcasts that i enjoy listening to regularly. Oh! What's occuring is really funny, and a lot of the subject matter that they talk about is very funny, but it doesn't last long enough! They cut every link short, and you're forced to listen to quite bad music every 5-7 minutes. Also, chappers' constant holiday is disappointing, as he's very much part of their team and appeal.

Oh, and i was very annoyed that they just spoke over the time turning to 9'o'clock. I use tedious to time if i'm late to work or not.

From what I understand, he does 'shout up' about the 'bloody ruddy' musical quite a lot.

Meh..... I've been enjoying re-listening to the Ibiza weekend stuff (Annie Macs Mashup is especially good) instead of Scotty boy.

The only thing is though that the jingles do (or did) state "...The Chris Moyles Show, with Scott Mills because Chris is on holiday, international Radio 1" I don't see why he uses Chris' personalised jingles anyway if the rest of the team are off anyway. At least when Vernon covered, when Chris was up the mountain, it made sense.

I think the personalised jingles are to keep the show chris', whereas if people tune in without knowing they'll think scott is now permanent - i'd guess chris insisted on it, much like scott insisted on being mentioned 6 times an hour when chappers and becky covered for him for a week. all about keeping your babies.
