Alrighty all.

I've signed up for the free fantasy football at http://fantasy.premierleague.com and made a Super League that I thought a few of us could join/compete in as a bit of banter n'fun n'that.

The league's called 'CM.net' and the code to join it is 719496-152457.

I've personally not used this site for fantasy football before, but I have it on a recommendation from a friend so I hope it's good! Either way, it's fun so there's nothing to lose really! Scoring starts on the opening day of the season - 15th August.

I have used this site for quite a few years now. To answer your question, there isn't really an actual deadline in which a team has to be sorted out, you can join at any point in the season. Although, it is easier to join before the start of the season in order to gain all the points that would be possible for a certain team.

No. Every year I think this is a good idea, every year I take it seriously for about three weeks, every year I lose interest when it turns out that I don't know enough about the English Premiership's lesser teams (ie. anything outside the top four) and every year I just end up deleting emails telling me that I need to update my team.

But thanks for the offer anyway.

I will do it when I get a chance, I'll be terrible at it and I won't be bothered to change my team around at all.. I just want to do it and leave it. But I'll still be terrible, even at the start.

I don't know where I am in the league (something about peak time) but Matthew Upson got me 12 points, Steven Ireland & Robert Green 8 points each and Van Persie 20 points
