Im new, but i wanted to come on somewhere and give off about chris moyles.

I dont understand what people like about him, he really seems like someone who slags people off and makes fun of them just to make himself seem funny.

Thats not funny! thats just being desperate for attention.

And this parody business, anyone can do that, try it, you will find it really easy to put your own words to a tune that someone else has created, there is little to no talent in that, im pretty bitter that he ruined a kings of leon song for me!! not that im big into kings of leon, but its just rude that someone would destroy someones song like that.

maybe im missing something!!! am i??? tell me because it sounds to me everytime i listen to radio 1 in the morning that there has been some bloke wandered into the studio and managed to get on the radio by total accident and everyone is too scared to tell him to get off the mic.

Scott Mills, on the other hand is fantastic, i absolutely love it when he is on in the mornings, or in the evenings, hes upbeat, friendly and gives out a positive vibe, Chris just totally gives a negative vibe.

The only good thing i can say about him is the mountain climb, that was amazing, but nothing else tells me i should be listening to him in the mornings.

and before anyone says that i dont have to listen to him...i do my girlfriend things the chris moyles show is brilliant, so i have no choice in the matter.

I am new to this forum as well but I read this forum because I am a fan of the show. I wouldn't go to Scott Mills Unofficial and tell them that I think he's crap and I don't get it because I don't really care what they think.

You've answered your own question really, you don't get it, it's not your cup of tea, change the station and move on with your life.

This invalidates your whole opinion. Scott Mills is scripted, unfunny tripe. Moyles is spontaneous and funny. The two are polar opposites, so if you happen to like teenybopper favourite Mills, you are probably unlikely to have any real taste in anything.

Finally, as has been said... did you really expect people to agree with you on a fan site. Go to UnofficialMills and spout your crap there, they like talking shit, you'll fit in well.

Hi I'm new on here too. But I have listened to Chris in the mornings for 5 years now. Before that I listened to anything but Radio 1. I hated the music and did not know any of the DJ's. Then I started working with a new guy and he listened to nothing but radio 1. I was also getting bored with all the other radio stations and their DJ's. All the banter, chat and laughter sounded false. Then I started working with this guy and he introduced me to Chris Moyles. Before that I did not know who he was or anything about him. I have to say it was a breath of fresh air. He was funny, the laughter and banter was real and I even grew to like the music. I now listen every morning weather I'm at work or not. I have even managed to get my Wife listening. Keep up the good work Chris.
