Hi which show did chris play cat noises while she read sport then other farm animals while Dom read weather. I'm sure it was a show during visual time but can't find it.

Funny thing- Here in the States, most people prefer a male for the sports and the weather, unless the weather girl is smoking hot. Otherwise, they feel as if they are getting short changed by the station, and that "little missy" doens't really know what she is talking about.

Sad thing- most of the weather people here are not meteorologists (sp?) and therefore are not really allowed to do anything but read a script from the national weather service. As far as the sports, most of the guys are people who never really played sports, but look trustworthy, and can remember stats.

Screwit. Keep Carrie- at least she sounds like she knows what she's talking about.

did anyone actually miss Carrie this week? answer-NO!

I did'nt miss carrie, thought it was better without her, I find her slightly annoying, as for needing a sports presenter I dont even listen when they do the news and sport, I go to radio 5 its more detailed and does'nt feel rushed.

Following on from the "Where's Carrie" thread, just had a wee thought.

Does the show really need a sports reader, I mean its only about 1 minute of not really important news that anyone with any interest in sport will know anyway. I for one haven't really missed her and don't think she adds anything to the show.
Dom on the other hand is an unsung hero of the show and I would love to hear more from him, esp the way Chris was winding him up this week during the sports news.

I don't have a problem with her just think she in not needed.

More importantly does the show need an on air producer?

I think that if there wasn't a reason for it, they wouldn't be there.

Honestly, I think all parts of the show are fine, and if Carrie does get on some people's nerves then maybe they would get on her nerves as well =P
