I know I shouldn't be so pessimistic this early in the season, but it comes with experience.

I'm like that don't worry, it's all part & parcel of being a West Ham fan... :)

The rest of my family are all West Ham, we're from that part of London originally. My brother lives in Shoreditch, far too close to Spurs for his liking......

Not quite, but they look favourite to qualify. Probably make it in the next round of games next month.

Funny thing is, my brother went to a Arsenal Vs Tottenham & when Tottenham scored the first goal they were proudly shouting out "Yid Army", which was a bit strange to hear :)

Possibly some of the dumbest supporters ever, they claim about fans chanting "yiddos" at them, yet as you say they sit there singing "yid army"...

Either way, they are Scum, End of !! :)

Wigan away for us today, I'd gladly take a point.

Spurs fans have always referred to themselves as The Yid Army. I remember an incident a few years ago when they played an away game and the match programme editorial referred to the visiting Yid Army - and were promptly disciplined by the FA for using racist and defamatory terms. I don't know who are the biggest idiots, the Spurs fans or the FA.

Don't get me started on the FA, they've allowed multimillionaire businessmen to take over clubs & basically "ruin" the Premiership by making sure only 2 or 3 teams win every year (I mean come on, if Cardiff came up next year, for example, they'd have to face Chelsea, hows that a fair game?), yet order refs to fine anyone for taking their shirt off when they score a goal

As for today, * Arsenal losing, grrr, and as for Adeybour (can't be bother to spell his name properly), what a c**t & what a lack of disrespect to your former team. Not only that he nearly studded a former team mater in the face, what a twunt.

Saw the game tonight, Adeybour not only stamped on Van Persie's head (although his tackle was rather bad prior to that event) and then he did that stupid run over to our fans (who never normally react like that).

Heat of the moment my arse, all he needed to do was turn left or right to the Man City fans, but no he made a point of running the entire length of the pitch & celebrate right in front of Arsenal fans, the twat.

Adebayor's behaviour was astonishing - surely he won't get away with the stamp on van Persie at least, even if he wriggles out of the inappropriate celebration thing? He should be banned for ages for that, it was horrible, van Persie could have lost an eye.

Exactly, I've never ever known an ex-Arsenal player behave in that way. Adebayor kept moaning that we didn't "love him" but the point is, is that he wanted to bugger off last year. No one wanted him, so instead of just playing out his heart for the team last year he played half arsed and didn't give a toss. I witness this when I traveled up to Middlesboro (why God, WHY!!!) to see us draw against them. Although he scored a great goal, the amount of times afterwards he just jogged near the goal when he could have scored. Henry would have never had done that, even when he wanted to leave he still played with passion.

The FA have also allowed these big multimillionaire business men to come in and almost ruin clubs, by this I mean West Ham. We had the Icelandic mob take us over, they spent extortinate amounts of money on injury prone players paying them over the top wages which has almost sent us into adminitstration. I don't think people realise how badly these Icelandic lunatics have treated West Ham. We now owe the banks silly amounts of money and the squad is suffering as top players are being sold to pay off debts, yet we're left with players like Quashie, Boa Morte, Dyer and many others on stupidly high wages and they aren't even playing games.

Adebayor behaved like a buffoon, and it's completely unacceptable.

Whats his beef with the Arsenal fans ? I really do hate all this shit of players complaining they're not loved. They are paid ridiculous amounts of money each week yet all they care about is the money, not the club or more importantly the people that pay his wages 'The Fans'. Yet they feel the need to feel loved, * pansies...

As far as I'm concerned, good luck to Man City as I think it's great that there's another club on the scene that can compete moneywise with the Man Utds, Chelseas & Liverpools. The only problem is that they now have mercenaries who are only at the club to get a bumper pay package. I found it really sad to see that Richard Dunne had been sold, he is the sort of player who knows what the clubs & fans values are.

Well definitely not a convincing or typical Arsenal performance but it does show that we can score untidy* goals and win games when a team is not letting us play our usual passing football. Had money on Arsenal to win 4-2 as well....so close!

*and maybe containing a little bit of a handball and whilst being a little bit offside

So far he's only been banned for the stamping on van Persie as far as i can tell. hopefully that means that a further ban will be put in place when they come to a decision about the other thing.

I'm hoping so. I watched both incidents and they were both deliberately done as provocative and malicious actions. He deserves 2 separate charges for 2 inappropriate actions. Bah.
