The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

It struck me listening to Chris this m orning that he is so laid back compared with what h e was like 10 years ago, talking about home cooking and early nights etc, that actually he would be quite good on radio 2 .Thats not meant to be an insult-I think radio 2 is a brilliant radio station, and I listen quite a lot.I can see Chris replacing Steve wright in the afternoons when he finishes on radio one. That could even be within t he n ext year or 2.I think it would be a dream come true for Chris if he was given a weekday slot on Radio 2 (which is virtually a job for life).I would rather l isten to Chris and the team on radio 2 actually,as the musics better over there and its not so play listed.Radio one shuold be left to the likes of Fearne and Reggie. Many of Radio 2's DJs are int heir 30s now so its no longer an 'old persons station'. A year or 2 ago I would never have imagine Chris being on radio 2 but now I can really see it happening.

You know it's OK not to write down every thought you ever have! Even if you feel compelled, this forum doesn't always have to be the victim - perhaps go tell UnofficialMills about them ... or your mummy ... or a tree ...

Why are people so abusive on here.I am only trying to ask a legitimate question.Chris is getting older. He will be 40 in 4 years time therefore his radio one career is obviously coming to an end.If he doesnt move to radio 2 where else could he go?And before you say but Jo Whiley is 44 ,she wil almost certainly be gone in a year or so and should have gone years ago

the reason for the comments from everyone is because of the pointless nature of the posts.
I'm sure that the post will have more revelence if and when we cross that bridge. Which could be next year. Or in 3 years. Until then. There is no revelence too anything.

With that being said. Just too go on topic too give you some sense of credibility too your topic. When chris leaves radio 1. The best bet would be radio 2 drive time say 3 - 6 or maybe 6 music breakfast.

And you are trying to do that?!

I for one, have tried my best not to be abusive but have admittedly been sarcastic and even derogatory, but my posts have also been worded in such a way that would hopefully encourage you to amend your flawed style of posting.

Everyone has opinions and speculates - that's par for the course on a forum - however, you often write as if you have inside knowledge on a subject or have identified a source unknown to the rest of us. If you cannot or are unwilling to provide a source or link for your statements of "fact", we just ask that you rephrase (and perhaps even correctly punctuate) your posts so they closer resemble personal opinions than arrogant boastings of leaked information.

Secondly, I realise a wide range of topics are posted and discussed in the "Ramble" section, but perhaps naively I would only expect topics on the subject of, or closely associated with, The Chris Moyles Show to be created in the "General" section. I maybe alone on this, but I see no relevance in having topics on "Did anyone cry?", "Fearne's first day off", "Scrapping the chart show", "Sara Cox is pregnant", "Pete Tong moves 2 hours later", "Jo Whiley joins Radio 2". I accept that I could just ignore them and move on, so perhaps this is just an issue with me?!

Because you keep on and on doing the same thing over and over again - ie posting baseless and plainly made-up information which you present as fact, in an attempt to imply that you somehow have "insider" status at Radio 1 - even though many people have asked you many MANY times to stop doing it.

Realistically Bradcali, you should be pleased anyone is still paying enough attention to anything you write to make them want to abuse you.

Either ignore his threads or stick him on 'foe'. A few clicks and you'll all be happy bunnies.

Even if his opening posts are whimsical at least they may form the basis of a discussion for those who may be interested.

Did I mention the ignore/foe thing? Oh yeah up there.

Someone asked me the other day how old I was, and I said '24'. I'm not, I'm 22... I think this may be a sign I listen to the show too much. :(

That's certainly not what i've been saying, nor is it what I believe the majority of people here want. Re-read what I wrote 6 posts above this one. If you cannot take a little more time over your posts and/or change your style of writing, or are unwilling to do so, then perhaps you're right.

On a serious note, I would like Mark & Lard back, however, and not meaning to sound ageist at all, both are in their late 40's now, they had a running joke on their show that they had four good tunes which they stacked them up at the end so that they had to drop some of them. As great as they are they certainly wouldn't fit in on Radio 1 at all now, sadly. Now 6Music on the other hand, they'd be great together :)
