It struck me listening to Chris this m orning that he is so laid back compared with what h e was like 10 years ago, talking about home cooking and early nights etc, that actually he would be quite good on radio 2 .Thats not meant to be an insult-I think radio 2 is a brilliant radio station, and I listen quite a lot.I can see Chris replacing Steve wright in the afternoons when he finishes on radio one. That could even be within t he n ext year or 2.I think it would be a dream come true for Chris if he was given a weekday slot on Radio 2 (which is virtually a job for life).I would rather l isten to Chris and the team on radio 2 actually,as the musics better over there and its not so play listed.Radio one shuold be left to the likes of Fearne and Reggie. Many of Radio 2's DJs are int heir 30s now so its no longer an 'old persons station'. A year or 2 ago I would never have imagine Chris being on radio 2 but now I can really see it happening.
