Has there ever been a more tediously dull feature in the history of British radio? And its not over yet, Dom on Monday right? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well they can't please you a 100% of the time can they.

I admit it's very random, even for them, but I rather like the links to be honest. It's different at least :)

I'm not a troll but I have to say that as a feature, 'cookies' is down there with their 'guess the strictly come dancing scores' game. You'd think making cookies was an amazing feat the way they've been going on (and on) about it, rather than something basic that any idiot with a recipe and the right ingredients can whip up in approximately 30 minutes.

You ever heard of youtube?

Yeah, I'm aware of it thanks. You might like to read my post again: did I say "I don't know anywhere to hear Sesame St songs except for when Moyles plays them"? No.

I can't believe that I am the only person here who agrees with this completely. Aled's ridiculous saga was particularly ludicrous. If you don't even have the kitchen equipment let alone the ingredients, surely you either say "sorry, I can't be part of this because I don't have the stuff I need" or you spend the money on the stuff you need and don't make a stupid fuss about it as though you are surprised that it costs money to buy cooking utensils?

Seriously Moyles get a grip would the 1997 Chris Moyles have done a full week of features on baking cookies?

Well no he wouldn't, as he said himself. But I would be seriously concerned if the 2009 Chris Moyles - or anyone come to that - was focussed on the same occupations and activities as they were in 1997. People grow, and they change - or at least they SHOULD.

anteater does have a point. Its not the most exciting feature ever lets face it...I swear to God Chris is audiotning for radio 2 these days!

Yeah couldn't agree more. It's so frustrating for us that first loved moyles on early breakfast to see how much he has changed. I have never listened to womans hour on radio 4 but I imagine it would sound pretty much like how the show has become. And don't even get me started on Angelo. Who the heck is that idiot? Is he some z list ex big brother contestant or something? And why the heck should I care about his weight issues once a week 52 weeks a year for the forseeable future. You're a complete nobody GO AWAY. Just give out his facebook on air and if anyones interested in this continuing gripping saga they can look up him.

Personally, I've got a lot of time for Angelo. Well. Not a lot. 5 minutes a week is about right though.

There is a reason why the show is the (2nd) most popular breakfast show in the UK - they know what they are doing. Stop whining.

How whining and miserable! If you didn't like the cookies feature, you could have turned it off. Instead, you chose to listen and then come on here and bitch about Aled and his "cookies". And, now, what's wrong with Angelo? He's done remarkably well. Lots of people struggle with their weight. I think it's genuine interest on the team's part and Angelo's proving to be a bit of an inspiration to others. Jeez.

How did the Angelo feature start? Was it by accident? I think i caught the first one and it did seem like it did, but it was the first thing I heard after the radio coming on so I was half asleep at the time.

I like Angelo, he seems like a nice bloke and I quite look forward to seeing how he's done each week.

I think it was all to do with Chris' training for Kilimanjaro & he phoned in to say he was going on a health kick for his wedding & it's gone on from there.

Me too. I always think he should be losing faster though!
