The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Was anyone else annoyed by that feature today? They basically ran through a list of people who want to be guests on the show, then rejected them for various reasons. Admittedly, most of them were rejected for valid reasons and I was glad they were rejected :D

However, when Chris rejected Charlie Higson from the Fast Show, he went on to say the Moyles Show audience would 'find him boring'. I wouldn't find it boring at all! I'd rather hear Higson than listen to dolts like N Dubz or Dizzee Rascal again!

Quite sad to hear Chris towing the management line of 'down wiv da yoof' broadcasting.

I thought it was a very funny feature, Max & OB would have been my choice. Not a big fan of Dizzee Rascal as a guest but N-Dubz are always good value when they're on.

I thought that some of those people would have been fine guests. I just found it embarrassing, for the people, that someone could so easily dismiss them like they are crap. A little bit nasty.

I thought the link was funny but I agree with you Bob,I was also unimpressed with Chris dismissing someone with Charlie Higson's comedy credentials so quickly.

His credentials are more as an author before and after the Fast Show (which ended in 1997). He'd be more interested talking about his recent writing projects than recounting the character development of Bob Fleming and Colin Hunt.

The link did seem to descend into just naming people and Chris giving his opinion on them e.g. Richard Herring, Stewart Lee, both of which wouldn't want to come on the show anyway.

I really like Charlie Higson but I was forced to agree that a large section of the Moyles audience wouldn't be interested in him. I think having Richard Herring on would be a car crash...Maureen Lipman was the most amusing suggestion. I love her writing, but again I can imagine most of the audience going "whooooooooo?"

Maureen Lipman is one of my favourite people in the whole world, and I think she'd cope admirably with Chris and "get" the show - but I don't think much of the audience would "get" her to be honest!

So do we think Stavros Flatley will be guests this week then with the Greek theme?

Humous for breakfast - lovely!

That was hilarious this morning though, Dave's grapes, olives, mini rolls and wholemeal pita.

I'm really starting to despair with the Moyles show and its guests. Let me compare it to my favourite radio show, George Lamb on BBC 6Music.

Moyles' recent guests: N-Dubz, Mika, Alesha Dixon, Dizzee Rascal, Ant N Dec.
Lamb's recent guests: Terry Gilliam, Derek Jacobi, Armstrong and Miller, Rich Fulcher, Natalie Imbruglia.

No wonder I actually rate George Lamb's show higher than Moyles' these days.

Who are they? I've only ever heard of Natalie Imbruglia. I may not like Chris' recent guests but at least I've heard of them.

I'd like to see William Shatner on the show. The phone in he did earlier this year was very funny and they all said how he should be on the show. Best get him soon as hes not getting any younger!
