well the fake comedy dave hasnt said anything libellous or anything.Its quite funny really.I must admit I enjoy reading some of the fake celebs on twitter.Some are hilarious,and lets face it loads of celebs deserve to be sent up.I dont suppose the real Dave cares or he'd have had it taken down by now.In a way it saves him the bother of having to do his own twitter page!If he did open up his own account though the fake one would probbably be finished

The scott_mills twitter account - as far as I know its real. Hes posted yfrog pics before from what appear to be in the studio so no "faker" would have those pics????/ I could be wrong though. Anyway....

I love the way bradcali posts as if he's sure the Dave on twitter is really him and is a genuine account of Dave's "weird life", but as soon as someone points out it's a fake, as has been mentioned on the show a gazillion times (approximate), he backtracks and talks as if he knew it was fake all along. I know text speak is not allowed here but I will second: FFS.

Obviously I haven't been around for it as long as you guys have but from what I've seen, that's exactly what he is. The more you respond to him and get pissed off, the more he posts.

It all depends on one's definition of a troll tho. I consulted urban dictionary and it has this: "One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument." I actually don't think that's bradcali's intention - he genuinely believes his crap is important and worthy of posting. So I wouldn't classify him as a troll. I definitely don't think he's Viv tho, the posting style is just too different.

Console would know by now if he was Viv. He has super-sensitive Viv-antennae. Besides, Viv can't go five minutes without losing her rag, and Bradcali is always infuriatingly calm!

I actually feel the same about bradcali as i did about Viv - ie he irritates me sometimes, but has huge entertainment value (when taken with a large pinch of salt) and is, I think, essentially harmless. We all know what he is, so if he upsets anyone its their own fault really for taking him more seriously than they should.

I've never found him entertaining really. I think a thread will all his "opinion as fact" posts would be comical mind you, then the post where someone shatters his original point, but I can't be arsed starting it.

When I looked the other day there were two accounts called "real comedy dave", one being the one that the team have set up that says "I will never post on twitter" and indeed has never tweeted, and one that looks identical (same photo, background etc) but that had been tweeting. I spent a few minutes flipping back and forth between the two trying to figure out how the fake one had managed to make an identical-looking account (yes, I had nothing much better to do) before I realised that the fake has used either a figure one or an uppercase i instead of a lowercase L in the word 'real'. Sneaky. What I couldn't figure out is why a person would go to so much effort to pretend to be what is, after all, a fairly minor celebrity on twitter. It makes no sense.
