uncovered things in the fridge is wrong - my gf (and her whole family) is really hygenic, but they'll happily leave pizza, fruit etc out in the fridge with no clingfilm...and cheese just in it's original packaging but open. it's so wrong.

I nearly vomited (as in actually ran to the sink to do it) last time I cleaned my fridge, as a result of my flatmate doing all of the above - with the frequent addition of spilled sauce - for weeks prior. That's all it takes to get a layer of disgusting gunky shite everywhere, and yet it's also so simple to avoid.

And within days of me having made it lovely and clean, it was back to that state again (apart from a little top shelf that all my food items have fled to and since occupied). I'm wondering if there's any point in trying again.

You should be my next flatmate.
