But the bitterness is what makes it appealing, I reckon. Snobbery has nothing to do with it. I find this anti-dark chocolate eater prejudice rather curious and had never encountered it until today. 8O

Milk chocolate suddenly seemed so bland after I discovered I had a taste for the really dark stuff.

Bourneville chocolate used to give me migraines.

Thats because this is the only forum which doesn't have masses of stupid rules and power mad moderators preventing people from chatting just as they normally would face to face.

Ironicly getting back on topic(what a historic day)Dave said today that he was filming Mastermind on the monday back from holiday and Dom said "a week on monday?"and Dave said yes, which would signify they are only having a week off,but I may be wrong.(I just realised this isn't really on topic but you know what I meant.)

Obviously most of the chocolate I eat is dark, but I do agree that the bitterness isn't always nice. Green & Black's I think is really bitter and nasty - altho that said now it's made on the same lines as Cadbury's milk chocs, a lot of vegans are boycotting it anyway. I do also sometimes buy fake milk chocolate (there is a great brand called Organica) if I'm feeling retro, but it seems kinda sugary and weird now - and I have a super-sweet tooth. What I do really love the chocolate from Hotel Chocolat - now that's snobby chocolate for ya, but it's never bitter. Whaever the perfect balance of ingredients is, they seem to have found it.

Hotel Chocolat Marc de Champagne Truffles are the best chocolates I have ever had.

If Vernon is covering next week, then Dave will probably be on air as he normally joins him when Vernon fills in for Chris.

If Chris is off for two weeks please let Vernon do next week :)

I'm sure they're all back next week.

Great news, don't think I can suffer two weeks of Mills.

Luckily I found a bunch of old "Chris Tarrant on Capital FM Breakfast" shows & I've been listening to those this week, I forgot how much I enjoyed Tarrant's show although I'm glad he had left by the time Moyles took over breakfast, I would have been flicking between the two otherwise.

CT left in April 2004, CM started January 2004 - slight overlap.

Thanks for the correction, for some strange reason I though Johnny Vaughan had started in January 2004.

I wonder if someone has Tarrant's last show on Capital FM anywhere at all (goes of hunting), really bought back memories of how superb Capital FM was listening to that show, plus in one show CT, Kid Jensen, Martin Collins & Doctor Fox voice an ad each. Just shows how much that station has sadly fallen.

Brilliant, I've been after it for such a long time, I even set up a thread in the sound request about 15-30 minutes ago.

Thanks in advance :D
