Where is the 20 minute half asleep ramble to start the show...?

Mills not only sounds WAY too awake for 06:33, but is opening the show with a ruddy song!!

Its just not right, i tell ya. Thank * for the iPlayer.....

My alarm goes off at 6.10, so I catch the last bit of Early breakfast. Dev is AWFUL, but his fill-in, Max, is truly appalling.

To be honest, if its going to be Mills on Breakfast I would prefer he just played non-stop music so I don't mind the record-rich start to the show. Its when he talks and tries to be entertaining that it makes my ears bleed.

I've made my usual switch to Manchester Rock Radio and I'll be staying there til Moyles is back.

I couldn't believe it when I heard him play the first tune & saw that it was only 6:34am. Chris Moyles, Chris Tarrant, Terry Wogan, hell even Johnn Vaughan & Doctor Fox have what it takes to be a breakfast DJ, Mills just doesn't, even that or he really can't be bothered because he's "just filling in" for Chris. At least Vernon gives it a go.

He was saying it felt like Christmas this morning. That's the first time since I got my shower radio that I've turned it off before I got out the shower.

My listening schedule now runs thusly: Breakfast: Alice Cooper, then George Lamb. Lunchtime/Afternoon: Danny Wallace. Afternoon/Evening: Steve Lamacq

:D

I still think it was a genius move giving Alice Cooper a breakfast radio show. He tells such brilliant anecdotes from his touring days.

Yep, I love Breakfast with Alice, I'd be listening to it in the mornings if only I could get DAB in the car.

I'm off to see Alice in Swindon at the end of November, I can't wait!

Planet Rock. DAB only I'm afraid.

Excellent I like a bit of rock anyway, is it a permanent show or just a temporary one?

Oh really?! Shame it's only the BBC shows that are readily available to *ahem* download all the other stations you have to do the old fashioned thing of a MD recorder connected to a radio. :(

I usually listen to part of the show in the morning, and the rest on iPlayer whenever I get time.
Luckily I've not had all that much time recently, so I've fallen behind and am still on last Thursday's show. I also have many podcasts awaiting a listen.

Will be enough to keep me away from Mills.

Sat and today are up
