most of those no, cos I don't drive but that's just what they seem to call it in our building...they also refer to the flats as 'apartments', but I've resisted that one so far.

Ours coming weekley for household rubbish & fortnightly for recycling.

That doesn't sound like a council that wants to encourage recycling...

That's the LB Redbridge for you, the same council who spent £5million pounds researching into getting a new swimming pool built in Ilford to replace the 100 year old one that was knackered, and their conclusion? If they closed the swimming pool they'd save £150,000 a year, genius

Regards recycling its the LAW HERE in NYC you have to recycle!!

All containers have to be rinsed and cleaned (so you dont attract RATS) before you put them into CLEAR see thru bags for collection and we also have "Bin Police" that go around and write you up a Recycling Violation if you mix paper in with plastic etc

Ha Johnny - we have the same collection though, bins every week, recycling everyother week. Must be cause we're out in the sticks!
