The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I imagine it was probably just another larger fellow with a beard.

However, if it was him then I suppose if he was to leave the BBC he would like to go to the next station that has the most listeners, Capital certainly has a large share of the audience in London.

As I say though it's most probably a look alike.

EDIT: he could have also just gone for an interview on another show as a guest. I was going to say they he could have met up for lunch with a former colleague at Capital however the only former colleague who is still at Capital when he left in 1997 is Margarita Taylor.

I asked if she was sure and she says like 99.99 that it was him, and Chris' twitter only says
Heading home after a long day. iPod on shuffle and one of my own tracks just came on! However it was Dave's vocals and it sounded tops!

Hmmm.

Wow, his Twitter says he had a long day?! He really must have been at Capital!

Now his twitter says...

"Watching The Family on Ch4... It's really good."

And an anagram of 'Family' is 'Capital' 8O

Could Capital offer him the right amount of money?
Well looking at the line up for their Winter Ball, they must be loaded ;D

I really don't think he's off at the mo, I suppose if BBC Radio didn't offer him a different gig then he could go back to Capital or even move onto Absolute, seeing as they're a nationwide station.

However I imagine the BBC would like to keep hold of him seeing as he does draw in a lot of listeners for Radio 1.

In other words there's nothing to worry about until a proper announcement is made.

Depends on if they want him & if he wants to go there.

From what I remember he used to take the mick out of Radio 1 when he first joined Capital.

Part of the reason Chris Evans is so mega-wealthy is that when it comes to making a packet he has no pride, and no integrity amd doesn't care how much he humiliates himself. His first object isn't being the best TV producer, radio producer, TV presenter, radio presenter etc that he can be, its making the most money out of whatever he is doing. Nothing wrong with that, and its worked very well, the man is loaded. I'm not sure Moyles would have the same approach, he has always seemed more focussed on being what he has always wanted to be, a brilliant radio DJ that is, than getting on the Times Rich List.

Very true, oh well I imagine either it was a bloody good lookalike or he was just visiting someone he knew at Capital.

Can we all just please chill out. His [future?] sister-in-law works at Capital.

There you go a simple explanation, I had a feeling that he was visiting a friend at Capital.

All chilled here with me, to be honest, rather selfishly, if he was going to Capital it would be fine with me as I'd still be able to listen to him :)

"Watching The Family on Ch4... It's really good."
