The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

If you are anything to go by, there is nothing that he could possibly say that would end your relentless and baseless speculation - so I think he's best ignoring it, and you.

Bradcali has gone from providing no sources to providing the Daily Mail and Daily Star as sources... which is pretty much exactly the same thing.

I realise I'm only new here, and so haven't yet earned my stripes, but are you on the wind up, or are you deluded?

Genuine question.

I used to think it was the former, but as time goes on I think the latter is more probable.

Well, according to Polish tabloids after Chris leaves it will be Matt & Aled Breakfast Show.

Seriously I hope that Chris will host breakfast at least 2-3 years from now, and after that he will move to another radiostation, he is brilliant on the radio. As long it's available on satellite or via internet stream.

I'm listening daily in Poland during afternoons, so for me it's still afternoon show - excellent wind down after 8 hours working with a few t***ts. Although English is not my first language (yes, really ;-) I'm getting almost all jokes without problem. I have access to UK TV channels which helps a lot.

Sorry for my English

IMO if Vernon were to take over he'd need to take a whole lot of lessons from Chris in order to become someone who is technically as good and Chris and able to produce a high class show. Plus IMO, like the times he's filled in so far, he'd need the rest of the team alongside him, or at least Dave.

Never gonna happen. Vernon doing 5 shows a week for 46/47 weeks a year? When he earns millions for his TV work? They couldn't pay him enough to make it worth his while. Greg James would be their best bet.

He did this morning - it was just very subtle. At about 7:40 this morning Chris played the jingle that normally finishes with "You'll really really miss us/When we don't do this show no more". However Chris sung over the last line with "ma ma ma ma ma ma ma"(original I know).

If Chris was being replaced, he would want to try and let the audience know, not stop any speculation like he is.

I've just seen this quote from the Times http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life ... 904966.ece in a thread on UnofficialMills today.

'Rumours stalk the streets that Chris Moyles — self-styled “Saviour of Radio 1” — is to be “let go” from the Breakfast Show next spring, after his recent haemorrhaging of 700,000 listeners. And really, who can blame the station? 700,000 people — gone? Phew-eee. That’s like Moyles bombed Leicester, then dropped anthrax in the reservoirs that feed Hull — but just by saying things that he thinks. Amazing.

But! Wait! What is this? With whom do the corporation plan to replace Moyles? Apparently, it is the 900ft buffoon Vernon Kay — a man about as much use to broadcasting as someone whistling aimlessly, while looking in a drawer for a particular pair of trousers. For Britain, the substitution of Moyles with Kay is like escaping from a ferociously burning building — only to be run over by a fire-engine.'

It made me laugh, I thought it was quite a witty piece of writing, and I agree entirely with the writer's thoughts on Vermin. Aled has replied in said thread, to say that Chris 'isn't going anywhere soon'.

It was me who posted the article. Also Aleds post as follows:

Don't worry. Unfortunately, the last time I commented on a news story to point out how wrong it was I made it into the paper the next day. Bad times.

A lot of poo is being written at the moment. Chris isn't going anywhere soon so there really isn't much point talking about who would take over when we do leave breakfast.

It's not clear where Vernon's name has come from. Maybe something we're announcing on Monday might explain where the confusion has come from. (And no, it's not an announcement that anyone's leaving!!!!)
