I haven't listened to the show properly for about 3-4 weeks, didn't realise he was turning up late more often (oh dear, let's hope he doesn't go the way of Evans). I'll be honest I can understand the difficulty of juggling many jobs but he's been a bit risky being late every so often, perhaps the R1 management have "compromised" and let him do the first link on his mobile, I don't know to be honest.
Funny thing is, when Tarrant used to do the Capital FM breakfast show, and he was doing millionaire at the same time, he used to pre-record the first half hour of the show. The only problem is that because Moyles' style is so different to Tarrant's, I doubt he could get away with it.
May I suggest Geoff Lloyd on Absolute Radio (5-8pm), I gave him a listen last night & though he was rather good, didn't dislike a single song when I listened. If you're not in London however, and your lift to work doesn't have a DAB radio then you'll have to make do with crackly old 1215AM I'm afraid.
Before anyone else does it:

(Except Scott Mills - his whole show is dreadful but my lift to work insists on keeping him on) But of late I've got really bored with him, I don't reckon he cares anymore and is just repeating the same old crap every day. Yesterday I reckon he was very close to a proper on air row with Aled, it was not good radio. Of the present Radio 1 lineup Vernon Kay is the only one I'd want on instead of Chris - and to be truthful I'd rather Chris put some effort in and start producing a show with some original ideas in it.
