WITH. Bored WITH the same guests, not OF. I wouldn't care if "bored of" was merely wrong, but its also incredibly ugly use of language.

And no, I'm not really. I don't like them all, but I certainly don't mind the same old faces cropping up again and again, as long as they work. I'd much rather have someone entertaining on just because they are a friend of Chris than someone dull and dreary with a chip on their shoulder (like Halle Berry) who is just trying to sell something.

Well, I don't see how my post was "trolling" - I was of the impression that the General Chat Forum was here so people could " hang out, chat, gossip, and argue" - I was actually interested in people's opinions - rather than getting pulled up on my grammar (now corrected, Yudster) and being criticised for trying to prompt debate.

See, if you had a few 'Positive posts' under your belt before starting your thread, I think that would be fair enough. None of us live under the opinion that the CM show can do wrong, and in fact we're 'famous' for criticizing show features and guests. However, there are people who would join a fan forum just to 'inform' the members that they indeed believe that the subject of that particular online community is a 'Cucking Funt'. Here at CM.net we get it all the time, so I'm sure you can understand why I took your initial post as 'Trolling'.

I'd guess that the guests people are less inclined toward seem to be on more often than they actually are.

i think that finding new and original guests who would be good on the show - whilst being socially relevant 2-3 times a week would be very difficult, whereas the regular guests can provide material for the show which (although not providing a unique experience) do provide a proven enjoyable listen. would much rather a regular guest than a half baked feature every week.

don't get me wrong, i do enjoy a half baked feature every now and again. but their sporadic and unexpected appearances is what makes them so enjoyable

Sarah Harding was brilliant this morning, it's great when fans of the show come on as they instantly know what to expect and she was clearly a big fan of Chris and the team. She also has that wacky but not irritating (in short bursts anyway) personality which works well with Chris.

It's great that she doesn't hold the whole Nicola fiasco against him, neither does Kimberly but I get the feelling that Cheryl isn't his biggest fan and never will be.

Sarah Harding got on my nerves a little bit if I'm honest, but I kinda expected that. I also agree that the OP has a valid point. I wonder if they're having difficulty finding new guests or whether they just aren't trying? I really liked it last year (or maybe even the year before?) when they were talking about Agyness Dene and Chris just said "can we get her on?" and they did. It seemed like he'd expressed an honest interest in a person and wanted to get her on the show, rather than having a guest on cos they're his mate and/or are doing the rounds plugging something. More of that, I say.
