the final episode of this will air on monday (21st dec) night, i guess they'll be taken away from the i player sometime in january. so i'll grab them all and upload them here over the next few weeks, not sure if i'll have to edit them yet though. if you haven't heard these yet they are brilliant, very nostalgic and lots of archive radio 1 bits and peices.

we need to create a miscellaneous section of some sort, so we can stick the simon mayo and 9/11 newsbeat clips in there. plus these documentarys can probably be classed under there too. we can also stick this under it while we're on. never saw this in the sound archive on the main site so i'll post it here, dave pearce ringing in the year 2000 on radio 1:-

Thanks to these shows, I've been able to 'edit out' some News sweepers. I've had to upload them onto mediafire as internetarchive wouldn't work. You click 'Share', and the button turns into some dots going round in circles. Anyway, to the V/O's

I'm working on a few now although unfortunately due to the limitations of this sodding PC :x I wont be able to upload them, however I should be getting a new laptop this Sunday so fingers crossed there'll be something within the next two weeks :)

I've edited two more tonight:

Friday 26th March 1999 - my oldest Chris Moyles Radio 1 show I own
Thursday 4th April 1996 - Taken from another forum (which I'll link once I upload these files), I have edited this show which is a Late Bit on 102.4 Severn Sound FM show

Unfortunately as it stands my brothers PC refuses to upload anything to internet archive, rapidshare, etc. & I can only send tiny files via emails so at present I ask for your patience :)

However just though I'd let you all know that you're due for a big update, once I get my Laptop this weekend :)

Quick question about Chris' time at Severn Sound FM (or the GWR network as I believe the show was networked to several areas), now according to the show I downloaded & edited, the date is 04.04.96, which places it at Thursday 4th April 1996, however later on in the clip Chris mentions that he's only on for four hours at the weekend.

Does anyone know if he did weekday late nights & weekend late nights or did he just do the one?
