1/6. Listeners Andrew Frenzel, Kimberley Boak, James Briers and Libby Ainsworth start it off.
2/6. Neil Phipps, Ross McMahon, Dan Carnelly and Christina Tatlow each get their 15 minutes!
3/6. Glenn Atkins, Tom Errington, Michelle Miller and Jude Churcher are the next four.
4/6. We continue with Craig Sharp, Richard Good, Jamie Clews and Polly Farrington.
5/6. Will Wade, Robin Morgan, Cath Bore and Matthew Dunleavy are your hosts for this hour.
6/6. Dr Shahir Shamsuddin, Suzie Owens, David Elton and George Couper conclude the takeover.

And low and behold my name is on the list. I hope you all enjoy my show.

I know someone on that list and he/she (I don't really want to specify) is completely and utterly dreadful even by local radio standards, even though they think they are amazing. They have a show they do elsewhere (not on commercial radio) and it is so overproduced with unnecessary clips that it is like the illegitimate love child of Scott Mills and Steve Wright only 10 times worse. Problem is that he/she thinks they are amazing, the best thing to ever happen to radio and play their show to everyone who cares to talk to them in the street - seriously - but everyone else at the station knows their are utterly naff.

Can't knock them for enthusiasm though, but they are utter crap trust me. Would love to see their application for this takeover thing. Why not have fun and guess which one I'm talking about while you are listening.

(I'm not talking about you mcmahonman don't worry. Good luck with it, hope it goes/has gone well)

Merry Christmas folks!

I listened to Radio 1 most of Christmas Day, some were good and some were bad. Which episode are you referring to?

Can we assume you were referring to 'Craig Sharp's Afternoon Delight'

Nope - can't listen to that one whilst I'm at work, although not entirely surprising that more than one show fits the discription I gave.

Aw, I remember listening to Craig's Afternoon Delight and it sounded really professional, one of the better ones.

Jude's Pixie Lott show on before it wasn't bad either.

Nearly 2010, see if there's anything new tomorrow. Will Moyles get a new jingle package this year?
Anyway, I just want to wish you all a very happy new year.

He 'tweeted' a picture the other day recording new stuff with an orchestra so expect the usualy new cheesy songs but I seem to remember a mention about a new set of Jingles. Didn't hear any used on the show today, must be saving them for the first live show.

No, I believe you defiantly were referring to 'Craig Sharp's Afternoon Delight' as he is the only presenter at your station that took part in the takeover.

Yeah, it's because it's been more than a week since broadcast.

They couldn't do that.. if they've already got the holiday booked and approved, they can't revoke it. Besides, I imagine Moyles is probably even more bothered about beating Evans than the bosses are.

A quote from Music4's site

Music 4 is starting 2010 with a bang thanks to a number of new music commissions including the latest themes for The Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1 which go live on Monday the 11th of January.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studio 1 with a full orchestra and then mixed and mastered here at Music 4 Studios, this is one BIG sounding package! Check back Monday to listen to the results here at music4.com.

In the meantime, check out some photos from the session below
