I don't see why anyone at the Beeb should get in trouble, if anything the only one that needs to get in trouble is that useless twunt Dappy for breaching Moyles & co's trust. The BBC shouldn't have any fingers pointed at them because they aren't responsible if someone acts like an arse

This is an awful situation I mean here is this poor girl texting into a radio show and one of the guests, who should expect to be criticized from time to time, takes her number and begins to send her threatening text messages.

I mean she was so upset over this she went straight to the ....eh.... Sun news paper to ?!?!

I'm sure the BBC does adhere to it Topher, the point is though that they weren't to know that that little twerp would go out of his way to get this number & act like a * (no need to sugar coat it, he has been a complete *). He's behaved incorrectly, not the BBC.

But leaving information unsecure is a breach of DPA...editorial policy/management (I assume) will being having a 'chat' with whoever is responsible.

I think its just disgusting. This man has been invited onto a radio show and takes advantage of it by putting down the phone number of someone who sent a not even very offensive text and texts her back with a death threat after he has been placed with the responsibiility of convinving children and teenagers not to do just that. In reply to what was said earlier in the thread I would love to see him prosecuted but because he's a celebrity it just won't happen. It's disgraceful.

They have always surprised me when they've been on the show by being so likeable and articulate and apparently great, but then I heard about some of the stuff they've got up to in the past - and I preferred to think that what I weas hearing was real, and what I was reading was fabricated. Clearly the wrong way to go there. My previously positive opinion of Dappy and co has gone right through the floor, to the extent that I fully agree with what the woman who sent the text to the show said. And Dappy, if you're reading this - come and have a go if you think you're hard enough, you stupid, deluded, pathetic, moronic, gormless and truly pointless loser.

Personally, I'd lose a lot of respect for Chris if they ever appear on his show again.
He can't condone that Dappy sending death threats to someone, and letting them appear on the show again would suggest that he does.

I think the show will be a lot better off without having to listen to those idiots again.
I don't listen to any other radio shows, so I could do without those nobs appearing on it.

That's probably right. There's been no mention yet and they would have done so by now, most likely when Chris was going through the tabloids in the opening link.

There was however a notable absence of a mention when they were talking about go karting (this time with JLS). N-Dubs also didn't feature on the current podcast trailer, although I don't remember if they ever did.

Just listened back. There's some hillarious irony in that Dappy is making fun of a texters spelling of one of their names, and as we now know the text he would send later included the hillarious spelling of Chris' name. Funny.
