A great weekend for football, we (Arsenal) won, Woy's doing an excellent job at Fulham and The Mighty Leeds beating Man U was great as well (always fun to see Fergie throw his toys out of his pram when they lose) great stuff

Can't complain about our exit from the FA Cup, we put up a valiant fight against Arsenal but we just didn't have enough. Arsenals subs bench was the story of the day.

West Ham played really well and we only won due to a combination of the introduction of Diaby and Nasri and West Ham's heads dropping after our equaliser. The rest of the bench was like a Carling Cup match.

Think a trip to Stoke may be in order to watch the 4th Round.

Man City beating Man Utd was a bit of a suprise last night, glad Tevez manged to wind up Neville, the weedy little twonk.

I think Man Utd's days as top team are coming to a close now, with that £700Million debt they have thanks to the Glasers as well as several of their long term players coming to the end of their careers (Giggs, Scholes & Neville) they seem to be in a bit of a pickle now.

West Ham seem to have been somewhat saved, for now although Portsmouth's future is still shakey.

Thing is the FA had the power to stop this occuring but unfortunately the did bugger all, this should have been nipped in the bud when Ambramovich took over, sure he's done wonders for Chelsea, financially but virtually every other sod that's come in to take over a team have shafted them big style (Man Utd, Liverpool & Portsmouth in particular).

I don't think it was that much of a surprise last night. Getting an away goal was a good result for Man Utd. As they always play to win at Old Trafford and I do fully expect Man Utd to win over the two legs.

As for Man Utds days as a top team coming to an end.....hahaha!

The Glazers have f**ked over the club well and proper, but this £500m bond release they are doing is currently expected to sell out almost instantly.

The other thing about the bonds is that once it reaches the £500m target they can keep selling more if the interest it there.

There is talk of more than £1bn of Bonds being sold, which the glazers wont turn away as they can clear the debt pay out a minimum on the bonds compared to the debt, reinvest money into the club and actually take more money themselves.

Colchester were Jeff Stelling's tip of the day for Coral the day they got beaten 7-0. That made me chuckle.

So far, as a Liverpool fan, it's not been the greatest season but St. Johnstone seem to be fairing alright. A comfy 3-0 win over Forfar in the Scottish Cup and beating Dundee Utd. a few weeks back in the League Cup, can't complain. Can't wait to leapfrog Aberdeen in the league, I think it's only a matter of time!

Interesting, how do you feel about Rafail Beneitez still being in charge at Liverpool?

As for me, Arsenal are doing well although are in dangerous territory now (playing Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U & Aston Villa all in a row, although not in that order & have loads of injuries still) but I'm hoping we'll pull through. As for Fulham (the other London club I cheer on, unless they're against Arsenal of course) good old Woy Hodgson has done wonders with that team especially considering what was happening under Sanchez

To be honest, I'm undecided. He accused his critics of having short memories as far as him and Liverpool go, and I can see his point. However, when one of the fabled 'Top 4' is out the Champions League, F.A. Cup and is sitting 7th in the league, any sane person will have their doubts. I really can't decide if he ought to go or stay, but it's looking like he'll be there for at least a wee while now after having the board's public backing.

His transfer record is quite poor though I think. Torres has been his only outstanding purchase, whilst Babel, Arbeloa, Dossena, Voronin and Aquilani haven't made an impact (and Dossena, Arbeloa and Voronin have even been sold now). Let's hope Maxi Rodriguez is good and he takes Torres' advice and signs David Villa or David Silva (it'll never happen but I remain hopeful!)

Most people I know desperately want Rafa to stay at Liverpool. Bearing in mind that they are mostly ManU fans though, perhaps Liverpool should consider a hit man. They certainly can't afford to sack him. Personally, if I were a Liverpool fan the thing I would be most worried about with Rafa is that he seems to be having some kind of breakdown. He's twitchy, anxious, nervy, sweaty and looks like a cornered fox when he's interviewed these days - all par for the course for Premiership managers I would say, but he seems to have a great deal of difficulty dealing with the pressure of it. I reckon he isn't alone in that group in possibly being very very close to the edge of mental breakdown, but he definitely seems to have most difficulty concealing it!

I agree Yudster, he does look very on edge at the mo. The problem I think stems from Liverpool doing well last year and Rafa being quoted as saying that they could win the league next year which has come to nothing this year. Also the US board will only communicate with him via Email, which must be very off putting.
