Fair enough, I'll carry on uploading, and double-check the dates. I didn't realise there were mistakes with the dates, although I think the problem arose from trying to upload more than one show to the same link.

It would be be nice if it was possible to have a section in the Downloads section on this website, which contained all these shows, rather than having to keep redoing the list in a forum thread. I don't know how feasible that is though.

That's no problem Ian, as I say one of my old shows was uploaded with the wrong date, it happens.

I did inquire about getting the shows added to the download section of this forum, however it worked out easier, in the long run to add it all in here for several reasons (mainly space issues).

I plan to redo the first page with the list seen on this page & will do a "spreadsheet" with details for all shows, when I get a mo

I have quite a few from 2005 & 2006 (2006 especially) as well as a few from the tail end of 2008 so they will appear here, hopefully in the near future. Unfortunately I have sod all from 2007.

At present I'm trying to get up as many of the shows on cassette as I can for two reasons 1) The tapes are starting to deteriorate, especially certain brands of tapes, 2) It's been a rather interesting nostalgic trip for myself listening back to these, you kind of realise just how much they got away with on the Afternoon & Saturday shows.

The "bald, big eared, c*nt" bit was from a Breakfast show that they filled in for Zoe Ball Proof then that in London at least more people were listening to Tarrant instead of Radio 1.

Oddly enough, there's an afternoon show that I recently copied over, where Moyles calls Lizzie a Tart, Slut & Slapper all in one show, I think, he at least calls her a Tart & a Slapper. Could you imagine it now, The Heil would be burning down Radio 1 now.

Well I've somehow gained the 1st show after Rachels wedding (Mon 28th Sept) which would complete that week. I thought I had got it from here since this is the only place I get shows from. If I've managed to obtain it from elsewhere then I'm happy to send it to someone for editing

What programs do you use or is there any good ones online I can download for free?

Oh yeah it works very well, what I meant by temperamental was that if you're copying something from tape/mini disc like I have & you're on the internet at the same time, every time a big page loads it causes the recording to jump for some reason.

Otherwise it's fine, you can fade in & out of the sections you've cut out, amplify a recording if it's too low, etc.

Evening all

Just a little note for those who wonder why the coming soon date has changed to March. Unfortunately it seems highly unlikely that I'll be able to upload any shows in February, frustratingly, the wireless router doesn't like my new laptop & at present buying a new one is a no-no until next weekend so unfortunately the shows won't be up in February.

The majority will now be up in early March, apologies for the further delays but as you can see from the ever growing list above it will be a huge update

Three more copied over today:

Monday 25th December 2000 (first 1hr 30mins only) which marks Melinda's last appearance, on air, on the show (I'll explain once I get the show edited & uploaded)

Friday 6th July 2001 which has an interview with "Bubble" from Big Brother 2 (remember him?) unfortunately part of the interview is missing (only the first 1hr & 44mins was recorded unfortunately)

Finally Wednesday 6th June 2001, which is "newly discovered" to me as I seem to have missed it off this list over a year ago, I think this was one of the shows I discovered in a bag of old tapes, unfortunately side two is badly damaged for the first 10-15 minutes although thankfully most of this is during a trailer & song although it does carry on into links unfortunately (oddly enough the last few minutes of side one don't have the same sound issues, explain that one )

just wondering. but did chris do some form of five live commentary montage or anything for the germany 1-5 england game for this show? being as the game was on the previous saturday night.

if you search 4shared, there are a few mark & lard bits and peices that someone has uploaded. some stuff from 2001 in there mostly, but it's a bit messy. some things have been uploaded twice i think (reuploaded in better quality):-

I'll be honest I'm not entirely sure, I'll have to pull the tapes to see if it's on there. I need to really start editing some of those above, done five so far, but seeing as I've been in the mood for copying I thought I may as well do as many as I can before I get bored again

Anyway watch this space, there should be about 10-12 of those shows up by next Monday, I should have my new wireless router/modem thing by then

EDIT: Another worrying thing is that another Saturday Show (14th April 2001) has gone missing now I just hope I've misplaced it rather than lost it
