Same here! I think it's just force of habit - see food for sale, eat food. I think the same about theatre - we sell sweets, ice cream and also popcorn at family shows, and people insist on rattling packets and crunching all the way thru plays, it really annoys me, it's just bad manners when there are actors on stage. If I'm starving at the theatre I might chew a stick of gum to stave it off, but otherwise I just wait til I get out - I can cope, I'm not an animal. Normally when I go to the cinema I'll smuggle a Starbucks coffee in in my bag and that's all I need - popcorn or nachos would taste weird with a latte anyway.
