Does anyone else think that Moyles deserves an MBE, he gets involved in loads of things for charity, Great North Run, Sport Relief Mile, Kilimanjaro, One Road Travel etc etc and he always sincerely supports other charity stuff and I'm sure his input has been influential in raising significant money for other events that he's not been involved in personally, obviously recently Sport Relief Bike Ride. I'm sure much of his efforts are motivated by a lucrative BBC contract but he's been loyal to the Beeb since joining, he's a really genuine fellow and provides live entertainment for the masses 5 out of the 7 days a week. Not bashing him, but I wouldent say he is loyal to the beeb, just that he knows he will get the most exposure where he currently is.

Well, firstly, it's not going to happen. Secondly, if he gets one he should/will get it 'cause of the broadcasting, not the charity work.

Moyles has done a few charity things, but he's not exactly prolific with it. He certainly deserves recognition for his services to broadcasting, although I'm not sure now would be the time to do it. Can you imagine the "His Career Is Over!" speculation if he got that kind of award now?! Also I think some kind of industry award would be considerably more approprate than an MBE or any of the Civic Honours.
