has anyone noticed on the thursday cheesy song that thor is attributed with being the god of war?

he wasn't, odin was the god of warfare, thor was the god of thunder and lightening, not war.

dave gets it wrong (again) lol.

and the Wednesday Cheesy Song is wrong because you wouldn't be allowed the word "Wednesday" on Countdown as it's a proper noun, so you wouldn't get full marks on the spelling.

the cheesy song is played at 6.30. how many people actually take note of whats said who actually cares whats sung. i don't really care. it's probably just to make it rhyme. as i said. how many people actually take note of whats said in the cheesy song. for me. it's to wake up to. and then listen to the first link in bed before getting up probably in the first record.

Aside from anything else, Odin was Thors Dad therefore I'm sure he had a shot at the family business at SOME point.

And just to be clear, the origins of Wednesday are also Norse, definitely NOT Greek - not even "probably". All the days of the week have Norse origins.
