Oh no. I'm not a fashion person but I studied him at school and he's certainly one of the top British designers and the best known (excluding the Victoria Beckham types) out there.

I love fashion so much that I forget that other people don't know who designers are. That's the second Steve McQueen reference I've seen this evening - I guess he's the only McQueen that non-fashionistas have a frame of reference for.

I hated thinking this, but Haim's death wasn't a totally unexpected. You just had a sense he would go out like this. I need to watch Lost Boys this weekend. (My boyfriend's cousin is the non-Corey frog brother.)

Yeah, not unexpected as he's had a problem for years. Still sad though.

Speaking of sad....I'm so sad that I know that the non-Corey Frog brother is Alan Frog and his real name is Jamison Newlander without even having to look it up. (Although I'm not confident I've spelt Jamison correctly).
