Pity they could not have left Scott on drivetime and instead do a Greg James and Dave duo for the next few days. Would have been interesting to see how Greg would do with the show in that timeslot.

If Chris is anywhere else in the world apart from somewhere in France/Spain, I'd be very surprised if he manages to be back for Tuesday unless they are just planning to let Dave and Aled to do the full show reagrdless of whether Chris is back.

If was in France of Spain he would do a John Cleese and get a taxi back. Financially it wouldn't be a great hardship as he will lose his fee for Monday's show as he has said that when he doesn't appear he doesn't get paid.

It's awful. With everything else going on I was relying on Moyles et al returning to bring some normality into my life. And cos I'm stuck in Preston I can't even listen to my usual alternative of Manchester Rock Radio. So Radio 2 it is for me.

I dont mind Mills to be honest, but he aint a patch on Chris is he..... Luckily I get two weeks off next week (paternity leave) so I'll be able to make up for the two weeks I've missed haha.... Plus the baby loves to kick in the morning when he hears the Cheesy Songs kick in....... Mills hasnt had the same impact on him lol.......

Presuming he's on the other side of the atlantic somewhere, how about get Chris up to New York and do the Chris and Cousin Brucie show for the week...I'd pay money to hear that!

Why cant the show be done 'down the line' from a different BBC Studio - Chris surely isnt too far from a World Service Studio. Aled could drive the desk in London, and link up the feed when needed.

Saying that, I am no expert and is probably extremely difficult to organise this.

I lasted about five minutes listening to Mills. He is just appalling. I want my morning radio back!

I look forward to seeing what the team will improvise for Tuesday's show! I do get the feeling however Dave is extremely uncomfortable in the absence of Chris, which is probably the main reason he seems slightly agitated when Chris is late. That's the impression I get anyway.

Hope they manage to sneak a flight into London soon from wherever Chris is!
