I don't think Wenger should go at all, with how much he spent we have had a good season, albeit a bad end to one. However, I do think that all the goalkeepers should go and try and spend a bit of money luring Joe Hart into Arsenal, as well as dumping Eduardo and bringing in that Chamack on a free. And this may be controversial but maybe even extend Campbells contract.....

I'm glad you feel that way about Wenger, I have a friend who is an Arsenal fan who called for Wenger to be sacked in December (the silly cow ) The season did start well, however the majority of the team has been out of recent, it's just a shame the back-up wasn't as good as the main team. Van Persie in particular has been greatly missed this season. Not sure about Eduardo to be honest, he's one of those players who I've never taken that much notice of myself. However I definately agree regarding Sol Campbell, if anything he'll be a good back up if we have injury problems again, next year (hopefully not).

I always rate Arsenal highly at the beginning of every season because I know at some point the young players are going to be absolutely amazing and Arsenal will be a formidable team again. I think Wenger is quite a good manager as he's always looking forward, something I wish our manager(s) would have done a bit sooner as it's not too long until we lose a lot of good players.

Yes he has been an outstanding manager, I know he mucked up this year with his experiment (which I understand was to win something with a rather young squad) & at one point it could have worked, however he has held his hands up and admitted he has done wrong, something of which I couldn't see Ferguson or Redknapp ever do. I have to say of all the managers I have really turned against it'd have to be Harry Redknapp, not because he's now the Spurs manager but because he's become a right arse since taking them over, at West Ham at least he was the "loveable rogue", at Tottenham he's the "smug tosser" in my opinion.

Problem with Arsenal is that they can't KEEP the amazing young players - and the ones they do keep are never as good as they were supposed to be (Theo Walcott? Any takers? No? ok, he can stay then......).

To me the most interesting question is - what will Stephen Gerrard do now? Torres will go - he left his last club for Champions League football, and he'd been a lifelong fan of theirs, so he will certainly leave Liverpool for that reason. But Gerrard? I think he should go, but the question is where to?

I agree Yudster, we do unfortunately let a few of our decent youngsters go when we shouldn't and keep players we should either (step forward Sylvestre, now bugger off) however I think Wiltshire & Ramsay will stay, Wallcot's problem is that he's still too nervy. To be fair he was out for quite a while but even so he's still hit & miss at times.

As for Liverfool, well Rafail will more than likely go in the summer as will Torres, unless someone else comes in to replace Rafail, however Gerrard although should perhaps go somewhere like Arsenal seems to me to be one of those players like Giggs who'll probably spend his whole career at one club.

Fulham were shocking, but their fans were awesome. I think it's the first match I've been to where there has been no banter between the fans, just appreciation. When they were chanting about going to Germany for Europa League Final, the Arsenal fans just stood and applauded them.

Fortunately Bridge isn't really that good IMO. What a complete plank though, what's he going to tell his grandkids. I don't really like pitching the whole grandchildren thing, as most people seem obsessed with finding things to tell their grandchildren. Let's face it most grandchildren avoid their senile smelly granddads at all costs and rarely if ever listen to the garbage they spout so this obsession with gathering "interesting" things to tell our grandchildren is quite pointless. I reckon the guy must be scared of Terry. Any other bloke would make a point of going, he knows he has the support of most of the England team so anyone else would be right in there.
Get in Terry's face. Make him uncomfortable if you want. Or why not just move on and forget it, it was only a very shabby bird at the end of the day.

I know, I was gutted for Fulham in all honesty, I think virtually everyone wanted them to win, but sadly it was a case of bad luck more than poor playing. It' sjust a shame that they won't be in the Europa cup next year unfortunately

My opinion of John Terry is probably the same as most that have been expressed on here - but he said some very pertinent things after the FA Cup final. Something along the lines of Wembley has to be either a football stadium or an events park, it can't be both, and that its really shitty to work hard all season to get to the final and then have the game ruined by the worst pitch you have played on all year.

But it was good to hear him in the interview (I just caught a bit of it on the radio) saying what so many football fans have been saying ever since the abortion that is the Wembley pitch started being used for football.

i watched oxford play york on the wembley pitch yesterday : and there were more than a dozen incidents where the pitch was responsible for players slipping, and generally hindering play.

Its terrible really, and there is no excuse for it. There are plenty of people in the country who can get a playing surface ready at short notice if needs be - but the real problem is that Wembley isn't the home of English Football any more, its like a vast community events stadium so there is no focus on actually prioritising football when it comes to the surface.

I actually think we'd be better off asking the Welsh very nicely if they might let us use their Millennium Stadium again for important matches. Wembley looks beautiful but if you can't play football on it, there's really no point.
