Another one for tonight:
Friday 12th October 2001
Team: Chris, Dave, Will & Lizzie
Show Status: Complete Show
Download: Friday 12th October 2001
Notes: Firstly apologies for the sound quality, another show that suffers from my "the more bass & treble, the better" stupidity of my late teens
* Little Bonus at the start, Mark & Lard's "Non Essential Selection" at the beginning (considering Mark & Lard material is very hard to come by I though I would keep it in)
* Chris & Dave question a clip in EastEnders regarding Mark Radcliffe & a nice little handover results between Chris & Dave and Mark & Lard.
* Jon shamelessly advertises the first series of 2DTV & talks about his advert he had to do for Suggs whilst he's away
* Chris & Lizzie have a bet on the Leeds Vs Liverpool game
* Jon's voice talents are put to full use in this show today, firstly with a new feature, called Hymn-O-Grams (of which Comedy Dave completely misunderstands at first), then later on advertise Radio 1 TV & other random Radio 1 events and also a Frank Sinatra/Robbie Williams sing-a-long (best to listen to that one yourself)
* The Team discuss a story in the Daily Star about Robbie Williams, which they ripped to shreads as been a complete non-story
* The Team also discuss some mobile phone download pictures that seem rather graphic
* Another edition of "Whose Round Is It Anyway?"
* Chris' then girlfriend (Ana Boulter) pops in to give him a little gift.
* I should point out that all but one Newsbeat bulletin has been removed, this is because by this point (a month & a day after the 11th September attacks) the team seem to have been "banned" from talking to the Newsbeat newsreaders, which was still in force in February/March 2002.
