Wednesday morning, the sun is shining, everyone's in a good mood and has World Cup fever. You could feel the vibe coming from the team right from 6.30am, and you just knew it was going to be a good day.
THIS is why Chris should keep the breakfast show, and why he is a much better DJ/Presenter than anyone else on Radio1, or on radio full stop. Who else would have the guts to even ask to break the set format, let alone do it, and scrap everything on the playlist for an hour, and replace them with classic tracks from years gone by.
No-one is good enough to replace him, no-one has earnt the right to replace him, and if Chris doesn't get his contract extended, i will be absolutley gutted and will probably say goodbye to Radio 1 for good.
